We lacked some creativity against teams that parked the bus last year. We still have to sort that

Apparently Poch has been back on the pies in the close season. Might need and "intervention" or something.

Looking forward to seeing how this lad gets on. He's young and in today's silly money he wasn't overly expensive so there's no huge pressure on him to hit the ground running.

He needs a season first to measure up the league, we must be patient with him.

any idea why he looks (like about 2") taller than poch at the end of the video? high heels?
It's just another example of one of Poch's innovative training methods. High heels rather than studs. Excellent for making pirouette turns and essential for those who lack the requisite height to be good in the air.

Took the club 3 years to replace soldado
He didn't really need replacing though did he? A traffic cone could have replaced Soldado. Bless him.

I think what we've done is get a 2nd number 9 where we haven't really had 2 who can really play like that for some time now (excluding Adebayor who disappeared when Pochettino arrived). Soldado was never a number 9 but more a fox in the box type of striker. He never seemed suited to play the lone role up top. Now we have 2 strikers who can play that role and N'jie who could possibly play alongside either of them in a 2. Much better options than when we had Soldado, Kane and a half arsed at best Adebayor or last season trying Chadli/Son in that position.

What he could have done with Parker.

Lets hope he continues his form in the second half of the season with. Young and talented player who can only continue to grow with the help of Pochettino and the team. But i a time where mega money is being spent, im glad we took a more sensible option even though its a little too much in my book.

My prediction - Kane will start the season in terrible form carried on from the Euros (despite his fantastic form last season). Kane will be dropped, Janssen will come in and do better. Kane will get disgruntled, there will be talks in January about Kane possibly moving, fueled by his agent. Come the end of the season Kane still not in the first 11 and a bid from Utd sees him leave. This time next year we're looking for a a striker to play with/be back up for Janssen.

Love from a positive Spurs fan xx
