My prediction - Kane will start the season in terrible form carried on from the Euros (despite his fantastic form last season). Kane will be dropped, Janssen will come in and do better. Kane will get disgruntled, there will be talks in January about Kane possibly moving, fueled by his agent. Come the end of the season Kane still not in the first 11 and a bid from Utd sees him leave. This time next year we're looking for a a striker to play with/be back up for Janssen.

Love from a positive Spurs fan xx

I'll be sure you to call you next time I need some piss for my chips!

Marcel van der kran (sp?) Dutch journalist said on Talksport earlier that he hasn't seen a player with such determination and will to succeed in about 10 years, said he's known him a long time

Brutal audience judging from the ratings for this post.

I believe it was made with the tongue firmly in the cheek and was just meant as a bit of humour.

Lighten up people.

I'm quoting my own quote here!!! This was meant as tongue in cheek as some Spurs fans are a tad pessimistic. Of which I'm not one.

I apologise to my fellow Yids. My go at humour/irony will not be attempted again. I'm logging off for the night with my tail between my legs. And that's not a euphemism.

It's 4 + 2 optional I think

So it's up to us to exercise that extension meaning he's tied for another two years?
Sorry to be a pain but i don't understand if the player is obligated if Poch wants to extend that at any point of the initial four years?

In general, he’s a player that fits the team.

Therein lies the philosophy that only seasons ago would have been the very last box to have been ticked off the players interview question list.

The official site says 4yrs. First thing i noticed in the announcement. Where are people getting the additional 2yrs from.

The guy looks fantastic to be honest. The goals he scored this season were all pretty great and well taken. Hard to tell but he looks a slightly better finisher than Kane, although we will have to see how his all around game is as we know Kane has some of the best around for a striker. This could be the best signing we've made since Dier of Eriksen/Lamela.

The two year option is a Levy staple, basically a clause to extract money if the signing has gone pear shaped.

But if it goes well a new deal will be offered long before then.

Anyone think the OS are worried about making him look short? (what is he 5,10/11?)

Three pics; two where he's pictured standing against small goal posts and the other where Trippier is his (little) buddy. :p

Strength, and attitude can surmount a couple of inches... (oo er )

The numbers not having heard of the 4+2 Levy staple are shocking to me. Have some of you only become Spurs fans in the past year? Haha.

Like the look of him, hopefully a great signing. He will definitely get his chances. Good with some competition for Harry aswell.
