Absolutely 100% Levy will have had Euro's booked pre-referendum. Probably months ago. Any half decent run company that operates in currency would do this.

In fact, I think this will be the trigger to do business for all prem clubs now they know 'remain' vote will not improve the exchange rate.

I really hope the club has a huge stash of Euros or our budget has now dramatically shrunk

We will have plenty of euros, but won't matter as they will have to get revalued on a monthly basis normally. The value will be at what ever the exchange rate at the time, but we will still take the loss as exchange loss...

There might be some way to mitigate the amount we would have lost.

Well with the £ going down we will be paying a lot more than what we offered a couple of weeks ago!

Probably like all the other prem clubs Levy thought the vote would go the other way and he would get value for money

Really excited to hear about this. Think we will sign Sanbria and Janssen this summer to go with Victor. If we can get the pair done for around €15-€17m each, I will be very happy...

Nice to see as well that VJ wears the number 18, and we have that available. After Kane and Defoe etc, think it would be fitting to pass down. Reckon Tony will pick up Soldado's old number 9.

Would be amazing to have the important signings made in the next 7-10 days, would be well ahead of everyone else and shows a real statement of intent from us

I'm not sure Jurgen appreciates being referred to as "etc."

Euro will also go down, they will have invested in US$ IMO. They will need to swap that for Yen before November though.

As others have said, it's very likely Levy would have banked the Euros for Janssen bid in advance of the EU referendum result. If he didn't, he will be trying to negotiate phased payments with a variable rate, speculating that the £ will climb ahead of the next scheduled payment. Fortunately, this isn't a big financial deal. It may actually help us as big clubs in our country may not try and sign the likes of Pogba, Aubameyang

Looks like its Janssen then - I guess we have been priced out of the market for Bats re: wages.
