Marriner apologised for the red card fail immediately, obviously they had lost anyways, but I didnt hear about any apologies to Spurs for the wrongly given red cards that actually had an effect on all of the games we lost as a result. FA ****s.

I guess ours fall under the category of debatable of under the assumption that refs are only human. Sending off the wrong player however is another level of retardment.

Except that both Rose's red card against Man City (given by Marriner) and Kaboul's against Chelsea were rescinded, effectively rendering them as definitive errors rather than debatable. Both of those (double) wrong decisions denied us any chance of getting a result but there's been no apology, no demotion for either referee (or the linesman who disallowed Dawson's goal against City). Obviously sending the wrong player off is a clusterfuck, but it hasn't had any influence on the result.

How many times do we have to do this? If John Henry had recieved a world record bid for Suarez he would have sold him too!!!

You don't know that though, do you? All I can see is a chairman in John Henry who has done everything right in supporting Rogers, and BR was adamant that Suarez would stay.

Look, bottom line I would have told Bale he was staying one more season, raised his salary and invested in three top players.

Liverpool have done that with Suarez and look where they are. The size of the bid is irrelevant. To be successful you need the best players.

I'm not having a go but I have seen people make so much of this World Record bid, ignoring the fact that players like Bale come along once in every 15 years, and they are the players you have to build around. Personally I feel as though Rodgers managed to get this message through to Henry about Suarez.

Also in the end I'm also not sure the extra £35m actually helped us effectively in the transfer market, it just meant that we paid over the odds for the likes of Lamela and Soldado instead of bargaining harder or identifying other targets.

Bit surprised about the adulation for Rooney's goal. Its good vision, but not a massively difficult skill to hit it on the half volley, and the only reason it went in was because of an epic fail by the keeper. For me the Tettey goal is far superior this weekend.

Not sure you can slate the 'keeper for Rooney's goal. His position was exactly what you would expect it to be when the ball is on the half-way line..... Lloris would have been the same!
It was a good hit and the slice on it meant the 'keeper was left confused which way it would dip.

Anyway..... off to Wembley now for the FA Trophy final...... The things I have to do for family!!

But Rooney's will win Goal of the Month because the BBC put it to a public vote so the team with the largest fanbase's goal always wins.
