I got to Euston for 11pm and back to Manchester Piccadilly at 2am. Long commute but worth it for that walk up Wembley Way. That moment will stay with me forever.
Not bad, i'll be doing this commute for the Bayer Leverkusen game.

My little one was up in block 517 giving it her best, but she succumbed to the "i wants" pretty early on with multiple trips to the food bar......enjoyed it despite the score.

Wembley really is a stadium of its moment, design wise. That is, late 90's/early 00's.

It's big and awesome (in the old fashioned sense of that word), but I can't help feeling it really is missing an X-factor.

Game finished at 9:35, I was home by 10:50... Wembley Central, Bakerloo line to Willesden Junction, Overground to Clapham, Train to Wimbles... bit of a faff, and was pegged this morning, but didn't have to queue once.

I was behind the goal Toby scored.

Atmosphere was amazing till there second goal and then went flat. Then Toby scored a boy that was it place went crazy until half time and the players was roared into the changing rooms.

Then second first 10 mins was good but soon came to a frustrated moan which I think translated into the pitch.

All in all I'd give it a good 7 overall but certainly a few 10 moments.

Journey home was a bit of a nightmare.

1hr took to get to Stanmore ( about 50 mins was just to get to Wembley station ) another 45 mins to get out of the car park then 35 mins drive back to MK.

Looked like a sweaty mess by the end of that :ROFLMAO:

Faff you say?
Metropolitan to Finchley
Jubilee to Green Park
Victoria Line to.... Victoria
Then 2 mainline trains to get home.
All that after about 3 weeks boxed into wembley way.

I can't believe we've struggled to increase white hart lane but the area around wembley is deemed suitable for 90k people.

we managed to get back to MK by 10:50pm.....was a decent journey home apart from the slow walk down wembley way. We parked on a driveway not far from the massive Asda

Wait until there are 61k back at WHL before you make those comments!!!!

I had pretty much the same journey home as you but the open spaces around Wembley compared to WHL are vast

Have no doubt that getting away from WHL come 61k will be a nightmare

I don't think it was as bad as some people are saying, was very loud at some stages and with it being the first game it took some getting used to. can only get better I think

You can't even see the stadium properly for all the hotels, shops and car parks surrounding it. Wembley way used to be breathtaking... You came out of Wembley Park and saw the whole stadium in front of you, flags flying from the twin towers.

Journeys home from midweek games always feel like a miserable experience, even when we've won comfortably at WHL!

We left the stadium about 60 seconds before full-time and made it into Milton Keynes station at 23:20. So that's approx. 1 hour 45 mins.

For a standard game at WHL it's about the same amount of time for me to get back to MK. Yesterday felt longer but I'm sure a lot of that was due to the defeat, the performance, the unfamiliarity of it all and the fact I had a few beers in me. Wouldn't be surprised if after a victory over Leverkusen in November a lot of people feel very differently about the trip.

I think if we get through to the knockout stages and a game goes to extra time, we'll be playing in a near empty stadium.
I barely made my last train as it was last night.

I left the ground after applauding the players off. Went to the overground station and was at Marlybone by 10:10. Queues went incredibly quickly. Full train, straight into Marlybone. Happy days.

Took just over an hour from final whistle to set foot on Wembley Park platform. At which point a jubilee line train arrived and we all piled on. But the train left 30 seconds later and there still spare seats with no one standing. A friend said the same happened to him on a metropolitan line train. Yet there will still thousands and thousands behind us in a stationery queue.

I am all for safe queue management but TFL need to improve this situation and the FA and clubs should put pressure on them to do so. As someone said above if a knockout game goes to extra time and penalties there will be thousands either missing their last trains or being forced to leave early.

We went to Wembley Central, then Baker Street then Canary Wharf, got home at 11pm having left right on the final whistle.

I'm told the Wembley Stadium station goes straight to Marylebone - will be doing that from now on I think!

The roar the crowd gave when the lads went back into the changing room at HT, is why I love our club and fans.
