Wembley Stadium

So, I'm off to Wembley tomorrow to watch the England vs Ireland match. This is my first time to the new Wembley and so I have no idea as to the parking situation around the area. Has anybody been before and know of anywhere to park that isn't extortionate? Better still, is there anywhere that it is possible to park that's free and close by, like a Tesco or something?

I would go by public transport but my missus is coming with me because my brother dropped out last minute and she insists on driving.

I live local and there is loads of parking near the stadium for about a tenner. Everywhere around is a controlled parking zone and the wardens are everywhere

Not sure if I was clear with that? On the industrial estate people open up the car parks by warehouses etc and charge for parking, all unofficial of course, but its safe enough just drive towards the stadium and you will see plenty of them.

I drove for an England game once. Parking was fine. Getting away from Wembley afterward was a fucking nightmare. We parked in the stadium car park though. Would rather have parked a mile away and walked.

Going by public transport can be a nightmare as well
