Been calling to see this since the start of the season, and it was beautiful.

As for SP's comment on Modric, he got an assist last night, and I don't think his game is about end product. He will get the odd goal and assist, but like Parker and Sandro give us a base to play off, Modric is the metronome that keeps the whole thing flowing. He was class last night.

No, I know that, and that is why I said it was a minor concern.
Look at it this way: we play Sandro and Parker in midfield with modric, neither of them really scores goals, and neither does he. That leaves us with the main wieght of expectation for goals coming form three players - Bale, VDV and Adebayor. And we all know how it ended last season when we were wholly depending on goals from just three players, don't we :shrug:

Just a minor observation that, if playing this system, the system, not Modric, leaves us a bit short on goalscorers...and it would be nice if the wee fella chipped in a few more. Do you disagree?
