Scott Parker should not be the first name on the sheet....

LUKA MODRIC

CENTRE MIDFIELD

It's no coincidence that our poorest performances, which have lacked any rhythm, have been with Luka out of the side, or shunted all around the midfield except for the centre.

So please, Harry, stop this 2 defensive midfielders bollocks, and put our Luka where he needs to be.

No issue with Sandro, but it's one or the other, and to be frank, whilst he is a destroyer in the tackle, he doesn't bring enough all round game to our midfield at the moment.

Harry is really showing that without his first 11, he has no idea what to do with the side, and the organisation of Chelsea's midfield, whilst pedestrian, won them a point and should have won them the game.

If we had a better option on the right we would have no problems.

Sandro and Parker didn't prevent us from winning this game. Moving Modric out of his best position did.

The right, is not important as the middle. You don't take out the piston, and top up the oil....

You go townsend, Krankjar or Rose on the left, and bale on the right. But you don't keep making three changes because your missing one player!!!

I think the problem was not resting Parker v Sunderland. He seemed absolutely dead.

I agree, there has been many a game where he has died last 25, and thats why him and Sandro should be steadily rotated.

Harry has made a rod for his own back by investing so much of his rep on Parker recently.

Good signing. Hasn't been amazing in every game.

he doesn't have to be. people banging on about parker are missing the point , big time.

I'd be happy with above average very game. I know what he;s there for.

He's doesn't play with any intensity away from home. He's gone missing for 2 away games recently in the last 30 cos he seems knackered, and against SUnderland, more often than not, his passing was atrocious, again, he just seemed tired.

He should be playing once a week, and told to run his bollocks off and we'll bring on Sandro when you can't breath anymore.

That is how we'll get the best out of him.

I thought, and knew beforehand like everybody else, that our biggest problem was going to be the loss of Lennon. We just don't have another option on that side. VDV can't really play there, Mods can't realy play there and I don't think Walker has the close control to take players on from that high up the pitch.

We need a decent quality back up for Lennon. I think we should buy Junior Hoilett!

I disagree. We still created enough chances to have won the game.

We completely dominated Chelsea in that first half due to to Parker and Sandro.

We do need to find a way to keep our attacking prowess flowing, but as A&C says, we created enough chances to win the game.

Anyone that says Parker and Sandro play like two DMs doesn't watch the game properly IMO.

Modric must play in the middle! end of. We have problems when either bale or lennon are out because we hhave no other decent wide pacey wingers to cover, Back to the OP point tho, Harry knows who makes the team tick. Modric!

Sandro was fantastic as an all-round midfielder today.

Never backed Parker as a spurs player, all huff and puff and so subsistence. I was disgusted when Spurs fans elevated him to the status of a God. At the end of the day you don't win things with Cloggers like parker, but with real footballer slike modric.

This... We knocked the ball around so well in the first 15, then after the half hour started hoofing.

Anybody that thinks we dominated that first half has blinkers on. We dominated for 8 minutes. Then they had the better chances. Sturridge sitter, Sturridge goal, and Drogba against bar.

Their midfield was always comfortable with us having the ball up to a point. Sandro and PArker did not get on it enough. How many times was Benny forced into a long ball into the channel cos he had no other option?

In the second half, the chances were equal, Ramires, Adebayor, Gallas, Terry, etc, but still, they had better ball in more advance positions.

With Modric in the middle, he creates openings by beating players, WE dictate the play at home much more than today, and of course when we have the ball, we can't concede.

Which is entirely because our midfield were lost. They don't know their roles in the game. The fluidity and understanding of modric and parker is lost.

Again, no qualms about Sandro, just not at the expense of Modric, one of the worlds greatest, and especially at home.

I don't think Walker has the close control to take players on from that high up the pitch.

Cole was struggling against him most of the game. Playing Kaboul at right back and Walker in midfield should definitely be an option while Lennon's out. I'd rather see Bale play on the right with Kranjcar on the left than Modric or van der Vaart shifted out wide.
