I think it will be the same team that started except perhaps Sess for Perisic and maybe Bissouma for Bentancur dependent on his fitness and wellbeing etc.

I do think Son will play - I say that because whilst he isnt playing well with the ball, his runs are still causing havoc for the opposition and stretches the defence creating space for players like Kane and Kulu. Richarlison will start Fulham however

This will be a tough game and they will come out all guns blazing. but one thing we really need to do is ball retention once we win the ball back. Conceding possession is one thing, losing it is another

Think we'll continue to gain points where we dropped them last season, fancy a draw or to nick it by a goal. Expecting a tight game.

A draw against an upper mid table team is no good to us. Based on the last few seasons, you can get away with dropping points in a maximum of 8 or 9 games if you want any chance of winning the league, you can’t waste one of those against West Ham this early in the season when they’re not playing well.
Of course we want to win this game we want to win every game.
But I'm not sure you understand the depth of bad feeling they have towards us.
I have been brought up in Essex throughout my life and I know how much they hate us it is simply put their most important game of the season bar none.
That is why a draw would represent a good result considering they will raise their game maybe you have not encountered their rage like I have so many rows with them going back 40+ years.
So to give me a WTF rating is bizzare unless you are living outside the UK or on the moon.

I'd like to see Richarlison start, not least because Rice makes them tick and Richarlison will get right in his face.

Richarlison will start atleast one game over the next five days... I think Richie will start v Fulham and Son starting v Marseille. Games are coming thick and fast over the next two months and Rich is definitely now settling in well and there is an increasing understanding with himand our current crop.

Their hate filled delusion is off the scale with us. These are the games I most want to win, except real cup finals of course ?

Worst game if the season for me this one, glad it's out the way early.

Bowen and Rice have done the square root of fuck all so far this season....pound to a penny they turn up against us. Need romero fit to spread it about a bit, give scamacca a few kicks. Who did he have a ding dong with last year over there, fornels wasn't it...

Chelsea or Arsenal away for me, but I get your point.

Wham have started a bit underwhelming, but you'd bet your house on them clicking against us.

If we play to what we're capable of, we should beat them. Major difference to this game last season is Conte vs. Nuno. Need to be extremely focused during defensive set pieces though.

Last season we played four at the back, they scored from a set piece and we didn't have a shot on target second half. Can't see any of those happening this season at least!

Yep a lot on here and other Spurs fans elsewhere don't get it, don't blame them. You have to have been unfortunate enough to have lived, drank and worked with those **** for years, to truly get the hate

Expect them to amazingly turn into world beaters on Wednesday night.

This'll be tricky.
We'll just have to be better world beaters then. But yes, the Villa win gives them more confidence. No doubt.

Still it's up to us to be ready and sharp for the battle. We need fighters on the pitch.

And we really need to have more confidence in our team. We are no pushovers under Conte.

If Romero is still unavailable then I’d like to see Lenglet start. We just need to be a bit better coming out from the back and having one of our centre backs to step into that midfield as the 3rd in the middle to help our transition. Expect Bissouma to come in and maybe Richarlison too.

How would we organise the back three? Lenglet plays on the left and is very left-footed, like Davies. That would require Sanchez to continue in place of Romero, with Dier between them.

Especially if they're going to need to deal with Antonio, who is a handful even when he isn't scoring, I'd rather persevere with the tested trio of Sanchez, Dier and Davies. Lenglet can ideally have his debut when we can have Dier and Romero to hold down the other two places.

Dropping Son can’t help to boost his confidence. Did Kane get benched even he didn’t score for handful games last season?
Rotate Kulu with Richy. We need both Kane and Son in our team
Also, I will start Bissouma ahead of Bentancur as well. Rest remains unchanged

I think Bentancur maybe has concussion. Only a guess!
