so.,after this show..how much askin price will be !!
Literally millions. Great skill from the lad, but like Flatters said he could have done much better with the shot, or even passed it. Personally I wouldn't be against him getting another chance for us, but I'd expect us to bring in better over the summer. Realistically he'd have to really go some to bump his value to higher than 4 million, and if he really showed that kind of form then I guess there's a chance we'd keep him. I don't know.

if we get £4m that's a right result - how much did we pay for him?

as I said before no way can I see Levy agreeing he comes back as a first team player- (but hey stranger things etc)

he's got a lovely cross on him. I always thought that about Ghaly... i think the rest of his game is a bit hit and miss and obviously his shirt throwing and subsequent Birmingham incident leaves him with too much PR to do to seriously hope to get another chance at WHL.

As controversial as this gonna sound, but from what I have seen Ghaly is a better player than Boateng!

He's also older and not as aggressive. Boateng, however, has a much more impressive dental record than Ghaly

i think the reason ghaly is shining cos derby are playing him in his position.. CM! MJ never played him there once and ghaly said that was one of the main reasons he was left frustrated at spurs cos he had to play right wing. Think DC are seeing his potential, shame the rest of their team is shite. I expect him to sign for a mid-table premiership team or go back to feyenoord. Either way we have lost a player with passion and quality through bad man-management and over the top fan reaction.

Yeah not a bad player at all and I wish he had some time with Ramos.

But the whole shirt throwing incident which was a little over reacted at by many a fan means he was never given a fair chance.

Keep watching and waiting though - lets see how he reacts when he has a stinker, like he did for us that day, and gets subbed against his wishes...

If he's sorted out his tantrums then best of luck to the guy - shame it didn't work out here but i never liked his attitude much and, if we're honest, he was never going to take us to the Champions League

Slap on the back, quick nod to not chuck his toys, or his shirt, out of his pram again and move the lad on permanently. Let him continue his career instead of wallowing in the memory of a half hour of playing like a nob then throwing a paddy.

I don't see anything wrong about his attitude at all before the shirt throwing incident. Even for that, it can be argued that he was so frustrated that he hardly realised what he did could injure others' feelings. And I'm sure all of us have done a stupid thing or two in our time.

When he was playing, he gave his all. Remember the time he continued so bravely after his teeth were knocked out? And how he scored that goal against Chelsea? How I wish all our present players possess such fight in them.

I really think that in a decent team, and played in his best position, he could develop into a better player than JJ. Better skills and better shot. More forceful in his tackles. And the same non-stop running.

Agree with chinaman..absolutely nothing wrong with his attitude. Its the usual double standards really at spurs.
Chimbonda stormed down the tunnel..forgiven.
Keano goes ina huff everytime hes subbes...normal. Both of them do it cos they love the team and i think ghaly did it for the same reason
Ghaly went in a huff cos he was bood by his own fans, subbed on then subbed back off...turned into a devil!
It is true that ghaly was quite a frustrating player cos he tried to do too much when he got the ball and took the wrong decisions at times...but he got constantly bood and jeered at by home fans, if i was in his shoes id'v done mre than take off my shirt. Anyhow thats all in the past, i doubt very much he'l b back at spurs. Wouldnt b surprised if hes at everton next year after his showing yesterday.

I was/am (ish) all for giving Ghaly a second/third chance but don't blind your self into thinking what Chimbo and Keane did was the same.

Admittedly Ghaly was subbed as a sub in extremely difficult circumstances but he not only threw his shirt at the manager, then in reaction to the fans he also wiped his hands clean (as though metophorically saying that's me done) or an even worse slight of wiping away the dirt of the shirt that he has just held in his hands.

that was worse for me than throwing the shirt, but no one ever mentions that really

I'm sure he will learn with games when to try the magic ball, but he needs to play every week, and he will not do that for us or any other top-half prem side. (maybe in four-five years)

So, Ghaly never shows anything more than one or two flashes of talent then disrespects the fans, the club, his teammates and the clubs management after having an a-grade shitter of a match, by slinging his shirt on the floor and dusting his hands in front of everyone. Now people are "aww, he was good! Recall him! We shouldn't have let him go, etc..."

Robbo is a servant who has achieved some great things at this club. He gets treated like a mug by the new management, either purposefully or negligently, with no attempts to further his career or address the problems he's facing, given no protection by the rest of the team and you all want him sold.

Hands up who want's Ghaly back and Robbo out?

Right, all of you with your hands up - f*ck off outside and get your heads checked.

Glad someone else didn't buy that "i was just wiping some mud off my hands" bullshit that was bandied about afterwards.

He's not got the attitude to fit into a promising, rotating top flight side. His opinion of himself far outweighs his talents right now - maybe that'll be a bonus in the future but not right now, no ta...

I normally try and keep away from Ghaly threads, but I said at the time he shouldn't wear the shirt again and I stand by that. Comparing a little hissy fit from Chimbo or keane to what Ghaly did is like comparing a few parking offences with first degree murder. ( I know that's an over exageration )

He threw his shirt at the gaffer and then wiped his hands and it's his wiping of his hands that's the killer, I've never as I said at the time seen any other Spurs player do that at the Lane and I've been going a fair while.

I've also never seen Spurs fans so furious with one of their own players after he did it. In fact if he'd have been thrown into the stands he'd have probably got a kick in. ( I'm not saying that's right merely pointing out how angry alot of people were).

As for him as a player, he certainly has potential and I can see him doing well for a prem team in the mid table area, but he'd certainly not take us to the top four or six.
