Which manager appointed to the spurs hot seat was the last to leave you feeling genuinely excited?

Ramos, and before him, Santini.

Thing is, I was a little underwhelmed when we got Harry in and he ended up doing a better job than all the other recent Tottenham managers!

I have that same underwhelming feeling with Poch so fingers crossed lightning strikes twice! ;)

Santini.
I didn't know much about him but if he was the French national team manger, he must be amazing!
How wrong I was, but we had Arnesen and Jol so it turned out ok, at least.

It was Hoddle for me, unfortunately it was the wrong time for him. I would have him back now or even as a stand in at the end of last season.

None of the others excited me at all and none of the names being linked at the moment really get me going either. The whole club doesn't feel right at the moment.

The last managerial appointment that excited me was Ramos, shame how it turned out but he did at least win our last trophy.

Redknapp I was meh but he turned out alright for us.

AVB I was horrified at after his spectacular failure at Chelski

Having read the Saints blogger's view on Poch over on Cartilage Free Captain, I am really excited by his arrival. Could be something special.

PS - I reserve the right to delete this post 8 games into the season and call for his immediate sacking and replacement by Tim Sherwood, Chris Ramsey and Jacques Santini.
