Ok.........i'm at work, its boring and i want to talk football

So i was wondering about this 'agreement' we have with RM, and wondering which of their players we could loan to help our push for the top 4

but i must confess i watch very little Spanish football

Any decent players on their bench that might want to come to Spurs for a while??

Well, there's a little chap called Modric, looks a tidy player...;)

I've said on here before that, with Benny possibly leaving, we should ask for Coentrao. He's out of favour at the moment but he's a good player. Portuguese too, which might help in terms of our coach.

I imagine this agreement was nothing but DL trying to save face. I will be very surprised if we sign anyone from RM.

i had every intention to watch some of RM to see how Modric is doing but just don't seem to get the time.

Morata and Jese could be two possibilities for a loan. Both young attackers, Morata is tall and able to hold the ball up, Jese is pacy and flairy and able to play off of the wings. I think Callejon has looked great whenever he's been on the pitch this season and don't agree with the people that were dissing him on his thread. Coentrao would be an amazing signing but I don't see it happening.

I watch Madrid every week

He seems to be taking a long time to settle and hasn't really got a decent run going so far. Better signs from him lately though that he's starting to 'click' there.

from what I've seen of Coentrao, he doesn't look very good defensive-wise. Would we want that? It's not that we have the best defensive record, have we?

Callejon on the other hand would be great for us, though a permanent transfer would be more interesting for us.

Could well be true.

I expect us to play a couple of friendlies against them over the next 2-3 years as part of this agreement.

Higauin will leave this summer as they will go for Falcao, also Morata may leave, Kaka of course, Coentrao hasnt had much luck there, Callejon may leave but again I think he will stay

Not in the best form this season admittedly but he's a great full back, his defensive capabilities are 2nd to none, far better defensively than Marcelo.

We wouldn't get him anyway, they paid a lot of money for him last year and its doubtful they'd want to let him go.

Modric will play himself in eventually but Ozil is a very good player too
and scores more goals. Plays further forward than Modders but they are often substituded for each other.
I like Coentrao, he has plenty of flair, but like all Spanish defenders can be a bit 'ruthless' at times. I prefer Marcelo of the two.
Benzema is increasingly more effective than Higuain but unlikely to move even when Falcao comes in.
Kaka is back to fitness and form and was rumoured to be available. Good for a couple of seasons at least.
Wages could be a problem with any such signings
Don't think anything will happen to our advantage as a result of the agreement
in terms of players coming in.
Top Four finish and our new training facilities might swing a loan deal for a youngster or two.
They have one or two young strikers, Morata (20) was one,
that were the subject of rumours in the summer. But I haven't seen much of him.
I try to watch them when I can, here on streams and over there.

I'm still hoping they agree to play us for Ledley's testimonial...

Would be quality.

I reckon we will end up playing them out in Asia or in the states in a pre-season tournament or something. All about raising the profile
