If AVB can somehow turn things around and win over the players and fans (because I feel he needs to right now) it will be one hell of an achievement that would strengthen everyone's confidence in him. Can't see it happening though. He'll be gone by the new year, as will any chance of a decent season.

I'm a little lost for words right now.

We will never get to the top if we keep sacking mangers. We need to stick with a manager for about 5 years to give us a chance of winning the league. Stability is key and is always highlighted in the top clubs because it's true. If we all choose to force him out we'll be back to year 1 and rebuilding will start again. Is this what we want because it's seems like a vicious circle.

Today is all about instant success
Chelski & Citeh changed the game along with the Sky beneficiaries

Everybody said bedding a new team would take time. The early results flattered to deceive We really don't know our best team.

The back 4 has 4potentials for 2CB's and no LB
MF2 could have Sandro Capoue Dembele or Pauliniho
And so on and so forth

It was not known who who would settle to the prem and who would be phased by the speed and physical nature

Any Spurs manager would have that problem but AVB has his own ghosts to lay as well

I think it will be a rocky time whilst all get to grips with it

My concerns revolve around 3 things

Lack of pace and slowness of build up
High back line does not work in the prem
Stubbornness
Accepting Ade could provide something although he is a mercenary. Dawson is not the answer but who is ? Not playing the best team

We have got to tough it out , make some adjustments and be more flexible whilst using the nucleus
of the same players week in week out

I didn't want Harry out but I wasn't bothered he was sacked and felt he brought it on himself somewhat blowing such a great position and shamelessly courting another job while he should have been focusing on the job he had

I never wanted AVB to be the replacement because he was so woeful at Chelsea and I didn't think he deserved to walk straight into a job like ours

As for now, well I wouldn't say I want him out now as such because I don't really see who we could replace him with at this time and I guess we should give him more time to make things work having spent so much money to help him build the team in his image

I do however think he's taking us backwards and undoing a lot of the great work we did over the past few years to become the best of the rest and really be knocking g on the door of the top teams

Now we're terrible to watch, blunt and ineffective and we show no real signs of improvement.

I don't know what we should do now if I'm honest, I don't think AVB is the man to take us forward but I suspect things will get worse before the decision is actually taken to show him the door but what is the alternative?

I reluctantly wanted Harry out.

I reluctantly want AVB to stay.

My opinions are starting to mirror Spurger King's.

We need to all stay calm. Yes we've just been f***ed up the a**e with a huge c**k and it's going to hurt for a few days. But lets take stock after the Man Utd game!

I never really felt AVB was the right man for us and I've seen nothing since his arrival to make me change that view, however there's little value in simply getting rid of a manager unless careful consideration has gone into who would replace him.
