Every clubs fans think the media has it in for them
And the winning answer is above
Every clubs fans think the media has it in for them
In other words, they're not smart enough to cope if things change from the way they've [mostly] been for the last God knows how many years, even if the change is slight, because change threatens their cosy little club.I don't think they hate us. They just don't rate us highly. Even now that we're successful they still look for any opportunity to question us. We'll need to win titles to shut them up. They'll probably still question whether our top players should leave though. I think they're so used to our failures in the past that they're still expecting us to slip up.
They don't hate and there is no grand conspiracy. In the grand scheme of it all, we really are not that important.
In terms of viewing figures only. In terms of football, entertainment, an actual positive and different narrative from the norm, we are among one of the most important things to happen to English football in the last few years and we show no signs of going away.We not important in the scheme of things for television network to hold agendas or to try distablise the football club by fictcious narratives.
They are simply saying what the rest of the media and others club supporters are saying and maybe there might actually be something in what they are saying.
Every clubs fans think the media has it in for them.
Martin Tyler's horrific commentary of Stalteri's winner against West Ham was awful
Why do people care so much about what others think?
So in every fibre of your being you view Sky as having no agenda whatsoever in how they approach/have approached THFC over the last couple of seasons? ...I'm not sure why so many of our fans seem bothered about it. We have threads on:
What opponents are saying about us: http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/ind...onents-fans-are-saying-about-us-16-17.125680/
What pundits are saying about us: http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/what-the-pundits-are-saying-about-us.125676/
What managers are saying about us: http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/ind...yers-and-managers-are-saying-about-us.128231/
Why are we hated: http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/why-are-we-so-hated.128498/
Now this on why do sky hate us. Why do people care so much about what others think? It's starting to get like RAWK on here. Like "Look at us, we're doing well lately. We demand some recognition".
So in every fibre of your being you view Sky as having no agenda whatsoever in how they approach/have approached THFC over the last couple of seasons? ...
It's a yes or a no.
I know which I favour.
Sky have a right to answer the questions they do. We are at the table on merit but in doing so it raises doubts about sustainability.
For every negative question/comment, there is always a mention about pochetinos great work, the youth of the squad, the amazing new stadium, the english core...
unfortunately we hear what we want to suit our agenda
BT Sport on the other hand is a very strange set up. They appear to be so Pro-Liverpool its uncomfortable. Liverpools game this weekend (although on Sky) will ensure that they have been live more than any other team this season. How that can be justified is beyond me
That settles that then. They don't believe in the product, just the bottom line. It's an interesting view ...No they haven't, they just want to make money. That is all they want to do.

I'm not so sure they'll lose that many subscribers. As long as they have fans of the Sky-anointed 'elite' clubs willing to cough up, I don't see Sky changing too much, because they don't feel the need to change.Anyway, my point is, the longer SKY persist with this model of "old boys" and no equal representation for Spurs the more idiotic they are going to look and ultimately it will end up hurting subscriptions to the service I think.
I wish they would give us the option of turning off commentary completely, would rather watch matches without it anyway.
