I wouldn't usually want to be this petty but her comments probably made me more angry than the actual result that night.
@Bobbins secret real life identity confirmed!

Wow, that's petty. As for the grammar......
Didn't she quit because of the abuse she got? This looks a bit sad now.
Forget the result that night. Forget her "Spurs bottled it" comment which she was clearly instructed to say. The biggest issue is that there are so many women who know a LOT about football. Why the fuck did Sky ever feel it necessary to shoehorn her in there?!
It's something I'll never understand.
Sadly a nice pair of legs and big breasts is valued more highly than a knowledge when it comes to female football presenters. Hiring her was a massive insult to many credible, knowledgable, erudite female football presenters.Forget the result that night. That said, Graham Roberts is a twat and a fraud. In the Bobby Moore lounge after the league cup loss v West Ham he was there alongside Tony Gale and Tony Cottee. Cottee had his head down having a drink and behaving, enjoying the hospitality, but Gale was giving it the big one and being more than a little in magnanimous. Roberts nose was so far up Gale’s arse it’s untrue, if he was anything like his twitter persona he’d have been putting the **** in his place. Instead he was more interested in brown nosing Gale, probably hoping he’d get a gig on Sky or something.
Or maybe Sky didn't renew her contract as she was out of her depth as a Football presenter.
What do you mean 'sadly'?Sadly a nice pair of legs and big breasts is valued more highly than a knowledge when it comes to female football presenters..

At least ex players have had a professional involvement in the game. Most will have inside knowledge of what is it like to have been in a relegation battle, title pursuit or good cup campaign. There are so many decent women professional footballers that could get involved instead of the cliche types. To be fair most of the male presenters are morons as well that read off an auto cue and generally add no insite at all. She's one of the best known female presenters on TV, she's well known for being intelligent and having a love of football, I don't really see the issue in thinking she might be quite good as a football presenter. Its less of a leap than thinking ex players might make good pundits.

Also what is sky's obsession with saying "keep you across all the games" Surely it would be keep you updated across all of the games. That drives me mad!
But those woman professional footballers aren't presenters. If she was being ask to be a pundit who needed to give an expert opinion then I would understand the argument, but she was just asking the questions - many of which are probably fed to her by the producer. Most of the male presenters aren't ex-footballers either.
Quite a few are more than capable of presenting these shows. Look at Gary Lineker on MOTD. By the way I was referring in large about your comment "Its less of a leap than thinking ex players might make good pundits. "
