I do know how lucky trust me, especially now that there's a waiting list (back then I got mine at the first attempt, we were a mid table side managed by Gerry Francis after all) and I hope you get to go to that NLD! And I'm glad you had such a fun day that day but I hope you get to repeat it with a win at some point!

Born in Hackney which really splits between Spurs and Arsenal. My extended family also supported both those sides. I was born on the Arsenal side but was taken into the light when my parents divorced and my step dad was a Spurs fan. Watched the Spurs v Leicester 61' FA Cup final on tv. But for the grace of the football gods I could have ended on the wrong side.....also live in oz....Sydney

It was around the time of the FA Cup Final in 1991.

I liked Lineker, Gazza, Thorsvedt and Mabbutt and also my dad supports them so thought it was the right thing to do.

Also, I believe I was conceived from a celebration shag due to us winning the FA cup in 1981!

Grew up across the street from Danny Balnchflower park (Northern Ireland u21's used to play there) and used to sneak in when the groundsmen would go home and have a kick around (they always left the nets up). Eventually asked someone who Danny Blanchflower was or is and that was it. Plus my mate had the sick Holsten top from the 86/87 season and I loved Richard Gough. He was my favorite player at the time.

like a lot of others its a family thing my dad and his four brothers were all spurs fans as was my older brother so I had no choice.when I say no choice I mean my dad would have kicked the shit out of me if I would have fancied another side. This has been passed on to my three sons and my daughter even my daughter-in-law who used to be a season ticket holder at goodison can now be seen screaming her head off at the TV for the spurs

Although i moved to east london ..well ilford, when i was 15,i was brought up in Edmonton,i used to walk to the Lane, infact i could see the floodlights from my bedroom when we played at night, i would stay awake listening out for the roar of the crowd and know that we had scored....supporting spurs was a way of life living where i did.

OK so for you local Northern Londoners, do you think it is strange that an Australian is a fanatical Spurs fan?

Not at all.

We are worldwide. I have a couple of pals in Perth who are Spurs. And I would say us North London fans are in the minority on here.

I rebelled against my family, my first football match was west ham in the chicken run with my uncles. They took me over for a season when I was a kid, I came to my senses early on and secretly watched spurs, I then came out and admitted to everyone that I supported spurs when I was about 7 and my whole family were very pissed off to say the least.

Now I have converted my sisters and brother and all their kids and have started a new revolution of spurs fans.

I am very proud of my creation:)

being a north Londoner it could only be Spurs or Enfield town
So I played for ETFC and supported Spurs.what I would have given for it to have been the other way around
