it is a joke the way he seems to be treated!
Hes a bloody good footballer.
If he can stay fit and fits into our system he should be one of the first names on the team sheet. He on his day will run the midfield. He has done it for us away vs Utd twice and if we can keep that Demebele fit Mason/Bentaleb won't get near him to be honest, he's a class above and deserves to be treated better by us. We've got a very good player on our hands here lets not ruin him, he needs some love.

Dier is in the team for his defensive play not for goal scoring

Dier gets in the team for his defensive play but Dier is also one of the first names in team sheets - thats down to his ability to influence the game all round

Where did this Mousa come from? He's playing like the player I thought we'd paid Fulham for.

I wonder if it is contract talk times. ;)

Whatever it is, we need to know. Offer him a £250K rolling game contract if that's the case. With a £100K goal bonus!

He has been superb. Poch will be proposing soon if he keeps this up.

It's always been said that if he could add goals to his game he'd be one of our best players, it seems that time may have finally arrived (y).

Every season he ends up playing a really important part for a period of time.

I wonder if the medical team have found a new way of dealing with his hip injury...

I think that's known in the medical field as a "rocket up the arse". ;)

It's funny how players up their game when faced with the prospect of being surplus to requirements.

I think the way Poch has gone about his business and his willingness to trust the young players ( as well as getting rid of the deadwood ) has had an effect.

Would have been fine with him leaving in the summer, couldn't see where he fit in. Proved me wrong and I'm delighted with his contribution. Offers great depth across CM and the three AM positions. Not 100% he'd feature in my first XI but basically undroppable at the moment. Well done Moussa

All players thrive on match fitness and confidence. One good thing often leads to another.

He doesnt see key passes and technically cannot execute them anyway.

but his strengths are obvious and far outweigh his weaknesses.

Silly not to try to tie him down to a new deal and fast.

Good of some of you to acknowledge your judgement of a less than match fit and peripheral md was a little unfair. A few more of you can come out now. He was down with pauli kaboul etc on almost everyones sell list in the summer.

These few games don't render invalid the previous couple of seasons, BUT if he has been able to work on his game as part of a team rather than just being good individually I welcome it with open arms.

Didn't think he'd have a future with Pochs style but will be very very happy if he has worked on his limitations and can improve to be the player we know he can but has never gotten to.

The frustration with him and the view that he could be surplus I dont feel were unjustified, but as I said elsewhere- if he has changed up a gear then I, and hopefully the majority, will be very happy. Performing well a t the moment.

Good work Moussa.

I feel Dembele has always played well when he's given freedom in a more 'AM' role. He played well when he first joined playing with Sandro. When Sandro's injury problems started, AVB decided to make Dembele the deeper 'DM' with Scott Parker playing the 'AM' role. This limited his game and the image of Dembele as a limited, sideways passer that offers nothing was born. He was just doing what the manager told him to do.

Now with Dier playing the 'DM' role and his restoration to an attacking role, he is flourishing again.

I love the way he can stand up anyone and then go past them. If he can 'shift and shoot' more in the last third he can get into double figures.
