Someone is going to tell you that transfer odds mean nothing in 3,2,1...
Probably means nothing but during this turgid window I'll take any minuscule bit of excitement I can get

Very weird how they seem to fluctuate, especially with talksport spending all morning linking him to Chelsea who have thousands of listeners who probably like a flutter.
But it's the Sun.........Only thing I see in the past few hours is Hodgson saying Wilf has given no indication he wants to quit etc:

Can't recall who it was but they said they worked for one of the major betting sites and asked someone there how they came up with odds, and the guy told him they have contacts throughout the sport (agents, etc) and will get info from them.we were 6/1 at some point this morning with chelsea at 6/4
Someone did post something on one of the threads about how the odds with players cant remember who so if you read this post then let us all know again please

I agree, was just answering the question that was posed!I think it's safe to say that betting companies manipulate their odds to reel punters into thinking something is happening thus resulting in a quick quid here and there made on something fabricated.
There might be something in it, there probably isn't because betting companies have a track record of manipulating people into thinking something will happen by shortening the odds. Classic bookies trick in horse racing, transfers etc
You might be onto something there. Isn't one of the Beano's main characters Desperate Dan?The Sun quoting Talksport.. maybe The Beano is involved somewhere too.

I think we'll make The Dandy the official comic of SC thenThat's The Dandy. The Beano has a character called Little Plum though so you can run with that.

We’re in turmoil also. At this point, our manager and our top players are liable to leave next summer and i wouldnt blame them one bit.
That's just dumb business from Parish. Surely Liverpool would have accepted £15m or even less.
Come end of the day this one will still be... dead. But we can only sign HG so Zaha wouldn't have made sense..
