Can you please provide us with a little more insight then as to their qualities and what you think they'd bring to our side?

I admittedly have only seen a small sample. So take my opinion on the two of them at your peril ?
Of course

Kessie - last season he was utterly fantastic and the reason Milan started to look good again. He was everywhere on the pitch, pure energy, great tackling, strong as hell and was a complete box to box CM. The Essien comparisons are quite fitting. This season he has been a shadow of himself and I dont think his heart/head is in Milan anymore.

Vlahovic - last season he was probably the 3rd best young striker in the world (behind Mbappe and Haaland). He is strong, surprisingly quick for his build, can hold the ball up well, links up nicely and has great finishing. He is perfect as a target man. This season from what I have seen (not seen tons admittedly) he and Fiorentina havent really got going. He has been a bit starved of service and most of his goals have come from pens. He scored a killer Freekick a week or so ago and also x3 goals last game.

Neither of them are the finished article so if we do get them dont expect them to set the league alight instantly. Under Conte I believe they will be very good and massively improve both themselves and us over time.

My best mate supports Milan so I reckon I've seen Kessie in at least 20 full matches over the past 2 years and I would say about 10 of Vlahovic's.

I'd also trust Conte, Paratici and a bunch of experts opinions on those 2 players. I dont think 2-3 matches is a large enough sample size to judge a player.

Whats happened with kessie to make him want to leave. Didnt he say in the summer he loved it there and didnt want to leave.

Thank you for the insight.

For me, I'll back Paratici and Conte until they prove they are not worth backing. But for now, I'm riding them hard. Let's see what they can do. So if they want Kessie and Vlahovic, fantastic. Exciting times.

I'll take Kessie and Isak though at half Vlahovic's price if I was in charge ?

Have you got some club card vouchers to get isak on a discount or something?
He’s going for the same money as vlahovic will if not more.
Sociedad are doing much better in la liga compared to fiorentina in serie a

He told them he wanted to stay their forever but demanded more money than Milan were willing to offer in their contract talks. So a lot of Milan fans are very unhappy with him and even more so now his performances have dipped.

Julian Alvarez , the forward to go for....Argentina national now & River Plate
Can play no9 or 2nd striker role.
Two footed - can pass & score left or right foot like Sonny.

If money is a big issue, I would rather go for him than Vlahovic and save the rest for another good player.
Alvarez will be a superstar in a season or two. By then his price will be 80m+

Scored 4 goals for River on Sunday. Apparently has a 25 million euro release clause.

We definitely need a quality CM but I think we need someone with real top passing ability as well as mobility and some defensive nous.

I’m not sure Kessie is that player, although he could be a good upgrade on Hojbjerg.

I think we should seriously be looking at Bruno Guimaraes based on more recent research and analysis. He has excellent passing ability, can switch play for fun to exploit the wing back space, finds forward passes but can also do the defensive side of the game. Think he’d be a good partner for Skipp, Hojbjerg or Kessie if we signed him.

Where do we stand on home grown surely if we’re looking at Winks and possibly Kane replacements we’d be struggling with the all names mentioned

The situation with Kessie seems to have a lot of similarities with Eriksen's final few months with us

Your summary of kessie is what I’ve seen of him previously but I wasn’t sure if he was just turning it on when he fancied it. We don’t need another player like that. I like him though.

Vlahovic is a tricky one. I’m always nervous of buying players with one good season under their belts as we’ve been burnt with that before. I wouldn’t want him going to the scum though, just in case.

Has anyone seen much of Johnathon David at Lille?

for forward i think we need a more established/matured one considering kane's situation and we have several prospects coming through

Despite all the links to players from the Serie A, I still hope we will go all out for Yves Bissouma - a gem of a midfielder, good work-rate, 25 years old, Premier League proven. Whether that's in January or the summer. Skipp, Bissouma, possibly Brozovic and Hojbjerg would give Conte decent options in midfield.

Possibly work towards something like (3-4-1-2) :

I think his court case may affect a lot of teams pursuing him atm - great player though

I hope we can get vlahovic but hes going to be in big demand. The top clubs will be fighting over haaland and mbappe but quite a few teams will be on the look out for a number one striker. Going to be interesting.

Yeah he seems to be the one of the main 'no.9' transfer target for a lot of clubs around Europe. His name is all over the City forums and I'd expect them Arsenal, United and a few Serie A clubs to be making bids come the summer.

Our trump card would be Paratici's Italian connections and the Conte factor, but presumably, much like last summer, the only way we really push for Vlahovic is if Kane goes.

If Conte demands Vlahovic on top of Kane, things could get very interesting (or nasty) as I struggle to see us sanctioning such an expensive move in a position where we already have Kane. I expect Conte would prioritise other areas of the pitch before no.9s, though.
