Then in the summer we sign Brozovic and Kessie for free and De Jong 60m

That should be enough

Vlahovic 60m
De ligt 60m
De Vrij 40m
De Jong 60m
Brozovic free
Kessie free

Job done - 240m

Bonus signings would then be 2 new wing backs
I admire your optimism but just can't see it.

For me, outgoing are just as important as incomings this coming window.
Keep (first XI): Kane, Son, Lloris, Reguilon, Royal, Hojbjerg, Romero

Keep (backup, for now): Lucas, Skipp, Davies, Dier, Tanganga, Bryan

Danger zone: Ndombele, GLC, Sessegnon, Bergwijn, Rodon, Gollini, Clarke, Winks (would be lower but for Conte)

Enough is enough: Dele, Sanchez, Doherty

I would swap Højberg and Skipp around personally, but otherwise I agree with your assessment. I’m not ready to completely give up on Ndombele, but if January comes round and Conte decides otherwise I’ll have no complaints

Outgoings will be almost as important as incomings for me, we need to refresh the squad and get shot of the festering dross that have repeatedly had chances and repeatedly failed

Probably best for everyone

If the plan is to continue the 343, do whatever it takes to sign Moussa Diaby, Pedro Goncalves, or Christopher Nkunku to replace him. If the plan is 352/3412, I’d do whatever it takes to sign Dominik Szoboszlai, Lucas Paqueta, or Christopher Nkunku to replace him. Or just sign Nkunku no matter what, that’d make me really happy.

I'snt Antony at Ajax highly rated? Would like Raphinhia too

Could easily have added those two names yes. Fantastic players. Whether either are possible in January idk, with Ajax looking strong in the CL and Raphinha needed for a possible relegation battle. Personally don’t think Szoboszlai is possible in January yet though as he’s only been at Leipzig for 1 year (only played for 5 months), and I mentioned him. If either Antony or Raphinha are possible, though, Raphinha would immediately be my first choice.

Funny, Di Marzio says that we want younger players so probably won't get De Vrij and this report is the exact opposite
just shows why you shouldn't be taking any notice of these click bait merchants particularly when we still have over a month to go before the Transfer Window opens.

I think based on what Conte has seen so far the areas of improvement will look something like this:

Lloris
Romero Dier LCB
Emerson CM CM Reguillon
ACM
Kane Son
Lloris obviously needs to sign a new contract, but if not could be a good opportunity to replace to a keeper who is better with his feet.

I would have included the CB role as 'open' but think Dier has impressed, especially on the ball. Not saying he cannot be upgraded, just that it is not a priority. Davies is a steady option at LCB but longer term I think we need an upgrade or at least competition. Sanchez and Rodon are not good enough on the ball to play at LCB in Conte's system.

The above is harsh on the CMs, and I think Skipp does have a future as the 'anchor', but ultimately I think Conte needs a finished product in there if we are to compete, and Skipp can develop as a squad player. I think Conte will quickly lose patience with Dele, Ndombele, and Winks, and I also think we will want more quality in possession than Højbjerg can give.

In ACM I do not think Bergwijn or Moura are good enough, and whilst the latter is a good squad player it may be tiem to cut our losses on Bergwijn (unless he can be converted into a WB).

Up front I think we badly need competition / backup for Kane and Son, Vlahovic and Alvarez would be perfect.

Interesting.

Thought with the ease of those deals we'd have been all over them.

I wonder if we are still in for Pau Lopez or Kounde

The goalkeeper situation is worrying.

Its not like we can replace Lloris easily and I think the idea was for Gollini to come and show that he could deputies but he looks far from that.

Which means we may need to bring in two GKs, yet there's not a great selection of them.

I'd have liked Maignan but we didn't move.
