Must be frustrating to either pass to Sissoko and pray he doesn't make a panic error or pass around him and waste possession in the process

There was a few times our players purposely didn’t pass to him in the second half. I saw both Toby and Davies ignore him.

Good tactic i'd say. But that's the double whammy you get from playing Sissoko and now to a growing extent, Winks.

We've rested our 2 CM's and Skipp's back next season, GLC needs to fin in here somewhere as well.
I think that would give us excellent balance but I will always have a fear should one of Lo Celso or Ndombele get injured.

United and Liverpool have plenty of options and still give lots of game time to Mctominay and Jones. I'd hope we do the same.

Yep, need one more that can play like Lo Celso/Ndombele.

Ok. So, for the Jose out folks, I hope you were paying attention to the dumb freekick Sissoko gave away at the end of the first half. And then the god awful penalty he conceded early second half. Do you see why so many others keep saying this isn’t just a coaching problem, but also players making catastrophic mistakes again and again and again. And u see how it messes with the confidence of the team? That has plagued us all season. That is a perfect example of how it is so easy for our players to crumble when zillions of mistakes happen.
...and when you have been a teammate of these players for 3 or 4 years, you start to expect it to happen and can become apathetic about it all.

I hope Kane and Jose can have a frank and honest discussion with Levy about the limitations in this squad. It would really open Levy's eyes to it as I imagine, from seeing the way he spoke on AON, that he believes some of this squad are good enough.

Someone else mentioned it earlier but tonight was a prime example of what I have been saying regarding the mentality of the players. We were cruising and dominating then a couple of silly mistakes and the whole team drop deep. Fortunately the subs pushed us back on the front foot.

Good win though, and it was much better from both Bale and Dele.

The marked difference in each half was the one touch passing that caused them so many problems. We needed two touches for much of the second half and ceased to push them back or cut through them.

Good win in the end even if Sissoko's error created 20-25 minutes of uncertainty in our ranks and a raft of substitutions that could have been avoided.

The opinion itself or the word of?
The latter. I can just about tolerate one, but two in the same sentence sends me right over the edge.

I'm a writer. Like Cassandra, I'm fated to always see this stuff but powerless to change it.
