I don’t think think we realise just how much of a bubble these guys must live in, surrounded by yes men each one with their head up his ass.
I understand how his entire life has been formed by being surrounded by yes men and people willing to let him do whatever he wants as long as he's good at football, but FFS. Everyone needs someone who can talk straight with them.

Do Brazilians as a whole think this is OK? Doesn't it embarrass them? Does he have to underperform for years on end before people will start turning on him for stuff like this?

Was Brazil always like this whiney light-weight bunch, or is this something with this current generation?

The ref did really well because so many refs would have fallen for neymar’s tricks

I’m 22 minutes into Mexico/Brazil. Loving what Mexico are doing so far, really setting about Brazil, except when they get to Brazil’s box, then it all goes a bit to pish. Just wonder if they can keep this up.

Turns out it was about 23 minutes.

For me proper cheating started with Rivaldo in 2002, that's at least the first time I was properly aware of it (I was 13). But it's definitely got a lot worse the last 10 years.

Just had to take the dog to the vet so missed the second half. Just as well looking at the Neymar comments. I assume he's taken a few sniper rounds.

Cad. You can't deny Neymar's been the decisive factor today, but ...

What a ****.

They must do. I know he dives occasionally to win free kicks, but if Dele acted the way Neymar does with all the pretend injury shit, he'd never live it down

Brazil are a bunch of cowards and cheats. Time wasting is one thing but this is on a whole nother level. It's not just Neymar either. He's just the leader of a pack of bitches.

That's my thinking too. There's no way in hell a Sterling, Dele or even Kane would ever get away with it without being crucified.

Well that's disappointing. Still, Brazil vs. Belgium QF will be good (assuming Japan don't surprise everyone)

I hope Belgium fuck them up. Let Toby and Jan go to town on them.

Problem is those two are too fair. Hard but fair.

Mousa and Jan has ocasionally shown a dirty side. Here’s hoping.
Mousa maybe, with the Costa incident and the challenge on Ramos when we played Real. But the dirty stuff I remember Jan pulling off is literally pulling down shorts and stuff like that. Can't remember much in the way of crunching fouls.

It’s a South American thing as even our own Poch has admitted that this is how the game is there.

Well, pulling shorts is probably enough to make Neymar roll around anyway...
