Think the goon filth were a little unlucky last night.
Got me thinking about the worst decision/non-decision:
I remember an FA Cup quarter-final between Man U and Man City in 1994 (or 96?)
United were 1-0 down and being thoroughly outplayed by a Kinkladze-inspired City. Then they get a corner which is taken without real incident. No shoving, no handball, nothing. The referee blows...for a penalty to United! It's scored, they go on to win the double.
I even remember Fantasy Football taking the piss out of it - they focussed on Roy Keane ranting when the whistle was blown - and then frantically applauding when he realised it was a penalty. Fucking hilarious. Why that ref was not investigated is beyond me.
I even think it tops the Maradona handball non-decision (although nothing to do with penalties there).
