I sat in with the home fans at a Watford game once :)

I managed to look mildly pleased when Watford scored but then got kicked out when I celebrated the Spurs goal about 10 minutes later. I had tried to prep myself for my reaction to a Spurs goal but when it happened instinct just took over and all I can remember is jumping up screaming and then looking incredibly sheepish as I tried to take my seat again :)

Have to be fair and say that the Watford fans took it in quite good humour (well the majority of them) but I still missed the end of the game :)

Never but was in the neutral end in Milan when crouchie scored. Suddenly realised there were about 2000 of us.

Man City when Rebrov scored to give us our first away win of the season in February. Managed to keep quiet somehow. Lyon, I couldn't.

I was sat amongst the skinheads and toothless type when we played Chelsea in the FA cup semi a few seasons ago. Never heard so much vile in my life from a thoroughly barbaric bunch.
It was not a pleasant experience, would never do it again

Did it at Villa once, thankfully it was during one of Pleats substitute teacherings so we were abysmal and i absolutely had no reason to sing, cheer, clap or keep my eyes open, except when Villa scored and i pretended to applaud a bit. Happy days.

There is no way I could have kept my cool when Dier slotted home that winner. Quite a funny read of two Spurs fans sat in with the Pikeys. Has anyone else braved the home section at an away game to see their beloved Spurs?
At Maine Road every time we played there when I was at Manc Uni in the late 80s. They were mostly fine. Just thought I was gay, which I think I was at the time. Happy memories.

My first live game seeing Spurs against Arsenal sitting in the Clockend at Highbury amongst the scum. There I was in my Spurs Jersey and scarf I had no idea that it could have been dangerous, they say ignorance is bliss. They probably thought I was a nutter. Didn't need to cheer though as we lost 2-0 courtesy of Tony Woodcock.

I also sat in the KOP in that FA cup 1/4 final where we won 2-1, Klinsman and Sheringham playing. I got a kick in my back when I jumped and yelled when Sheringham scored the winner.

Sat in with Chelsea fans as a young teenager, Klinsmann first season. One all, I think. Three mates, one Chelsea (whose mum bought the tickets), two Spurs either side. Was so naive, we turned up with our bloody Spurs shirts on, then arrived to signs of no away fans in home section, zipped our coats up.

Managed to keep silent when we scored somehow, a smirk to each other. Then near the end we hit the post and both of us let out a "oooooh" simultaneously. Heard this gruff voice go, "There's a couple of Yids in here" and we tensed up.

Turns out it wasn't us they were talking about and down the front of the stand we saw stewards intervene as two Spurs fans were clobbered. Like, savagely, blood everywhere. First time I'd seen someone properly beaten up at a football match.

Fun fun fun. Would not recommend

On a tangent, I was in Lisbon for England v Portugal at Euro 2004. That was a lonely place to be that night. About 200 of us in the Fan Park surrounded by thousands of Portuguese. Gave us an anti guard of honour, standing laughing and offering ironic handshakes as we all trudged out

Couldn't put myself through it against one of our rivals so fair play to anybody who can. Somebody like Ipswich or Southampton yeah but I'd feel the need for a cold shower straight after sitting with a bunch of Gooners, Chavs or Wet Spam fans for 90 minutes!

Funny you should say that, I forgot, I've been in away fans at Portman Road too couple of times. Have family in Ipswich. Nice small intimate ground. Didn't register as they were all lovely ha ha

I remember being in the kop for Ian Rush's last home game before he went to Juve, I was only about 9 but to this day it was an amazing experience....would love to see terraces back at grounds!

My family are all from Tyneside, so I've sat with a bunch of Geordie's for Spurs games many times back in the '90s. Which was usually a draw. Best time was when we drew 1-1 with them in the season they blew their 15 point lead over Man U. Jason Dozzell of all people put us 1 up in the first half. Hilarious.

Narrow escape.

Wearing Rangers colours at Hampden vs Celtic.

No ticket. Outside ground first bought Celtic end ticket. Swapped it for Rangers seat ticket a while later and at the death managed to swap that for a Rangers Mt Florida end ticket.

Never thought what I would do if I all that I ended up with was the Celtic end ticket !

I was in with Leicester fans when we lost 2-3 in a cup match, having around 25 supporters laughing in your face was not the most pleasant experience ever.
Much worse was being sat with Villa fans in the away end at the 4-4 a few seasons ago, I had to stand up and sing Happy Birthday to the Spurs fans when Villa took the lead, then sit on my hands when we produced a fantastic comeback to draw the game. After having to hug a fat sweaty topless (male) Villa fan who jumped up and grabbed me when they scored I made the decision never to sit with opposing fans again.
