Seems like a bit of a nothing-story, not a lot in that article. I like him though, £11m would be a good deal too

Inter do own him, signed a 4 and a 1/2 year contract in Jan 2015 with them.
In which case these seems highly unlikely, one reason being the credibility of the link and the other being he's unlikely to be on the move again

I've edited my post, it's all very confusing as some outlets say it's a loan with an option to buy, big media outlets say it's a perm deal, with quotes by Mancini confirming they've 'bought' him, whilst other outlets say there's a low buy out clause... yet Mancini has denied there's a clause lol

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in!!!

Note to self: This is just a nonsense rumour. Do not get hopes up.

Yeeeah I'd unload Lamela in a heartbeat to pick up Shaqiri if that 11.4m release clause is genuine.
I don't think we'd have to offload a player Pochettino wants- to sign someone for £11.4m.

Not true anyway IMO.

Probably bollocks but if that release clause is in any way true then we should be on this 1000%

If and a big if, Inter are looking to sell him. Then I would be on this player like a rash.

Has bags of potential.

Ffs don't do it (talking to myself)

Not for finances, but for the position. If that clause is true, wouldn't hesitate for a second unloading Lamela somewhere for Shaqiri + a profit. No question. Shaqiri is much more suited to the Prem IMO, and still creative while being a much more dynamic player.

God Lamela Eriksen and Shaqiri would be so fun to watch together. Just a constant stream of dinks backheels and top of the box mischief

Townsend though surely? Shaqiri has his pace with about 10x the talent.

Lamela is more of a playmaker and we'd definitely miss his creativity if he was to go.
