Jesus! QPR's wage bill must be enormous. Appointing Harry as manager could be the end of them!

Yeah I read yesterday that Remy is to be paid £85k p/w.. Obviously nobody knows if that's really true but bloody hell if it is...

He ain't gone there for the silverware or prestige. All this bollox about Redknapp being the influence for him signing is just a smokescreen for taking the huge money on offer.. You can't blame him, but as you say Bananas

This one makes complete sense tbh. Parker isn't going to have long left in him these days. M'Villa would have half a season to settle in then we could play him and Sandro with Dembele further up. It could give us 4-3-3 options too. M'villa was quoted by AVB as being a more defensive option.

Will it happen?
The money seems right for a Levy deal.

That's a desperate offer, he isn't worth that.

If we do make a bid then the decision for him is an easy one, its not like he'll be earning less with us compared to what he gets at Rennes.

He's a headcase. But he's also very young so there's potential for him to mature under the right leadership.

To be fair he seems to have earned his "headcase" reputation almost entirely off the pitch. 146 games, 19 yellows, sent off only twice one of which was for a second yellow. Pretty similar disciplinary stats to Tom Huddlestone. Not exactly Joey Barton is he?

I wonder if QPR have a get-out clause in these contracts When relegated?
If so these deals will cripple the club for years... good!!!

It's easier to choose the money when the two clubs who compete for you are Newcastle and QPR. The difference between us and QPR should be worth a few grand per week.

Depends on the players motivations and ambitions

He might prefer the bigger wage and easier starting birth (big fish situation)

If the price really is in the £6-7 million range we would be crazy to not at least look at him. Assuming his salary would be in the £50-60k range, not something stupid like £80k.

I think we all know that Parker is gone after this season; or at best probably only 1 more. Having another player to rotate with is a no brainer. It would also allow us to set up a very tough counter attacking team ala AC Milan when we paired Palacios and Sandro together.

He has a bit of a reputation for being hotheaded; but my understanding is most of that has/had to do with the French national team; where the entire team were involved. Being a young guy it's easy to be led astray when trying to fit in. It's also just as likely to follow a good example; which is where having the positive influence of Parker, Dawson, Kaboul, and Vertonghen should be able to help out.

M'Vila + Holtby now; then look at strikers and wingers in the summer.

Not to mention the captain of Les Bleus, one Mr. Hugo Lloris.

No way do we offer him 80K if we are interested. Nor should we. He'll have to make do with half of that + any bonuses he can negotiate into his contract to begin with. Fuck me, 40K as an opener. Not bad eh?

If he's smart, he joins us. If he's smart, he takes the almost £2m in wages that playing for QPR for 6 months would bring and have a relegation clause and nice pay-off on top of that £2m if they do go down and waltzes into another club. Win win for him.

It does worry me that 32 year old Parker just back from long term injury is almost the most important player in our team. Livermore is just not good enough so if Parker has any issues we have no alternative . If we can get Mvila for that kind of fee why not ?

Considering that AVB wants to win the Europa League, we defo need another Quality DM cause we don't wanna run down Parker and end up losing him too. M'Villa is good, cause he's fighter and would fit in the EPL nicely. But, if Belhanda is around the same price he would be a better value, as his style is similar to Dembele's. Fielding Dembele and Belhanda could potentially give us strength and creativity on our two CM and increase the probability of good play and our quality input for our strikers. If for some unfortunate reason Dembele gets injured too, then Parker and Belhanda can defo see us through the latter half of the season nicely.
