Could be totally off here, but that kind of tackle seems like a direct result of playing with someone like Ledley King, he is showing all those qualities we saw in the the young Ledley King. Wins everything in the air, and has a great timing in the tackle, pace, and poise.

I think he was a bit immature at that time.

Harry had the foresight and corage to belive in him and Jordan etc worked on him.

There was a point in the match in the second half when we had the ball and Villa had basically given up following possession stats of 70/30 in our favour.

King was the fulcrum in a passing phase of about twenty passes between midfield and back four and I swear he hardly moved outside a five metre square box!

That back four is looking tighter by the game, and special mention has to go to Disco Benny who was immense.

I was impressed when I saw him at St Patricks (in the Berba days!) but, as was the norm, in those days, he was 'wasted' and ended up at Pompey....for a spell....but, as has been voiced here, recently, the player is now showing that we were correct to appreciate his quality...from Day 1. I can remember Startingprices contributions, at that time...and he has been vindicated, in full. COYS!
