First three that comes to my mind:
1. Crouch securing first CL against City
2. Lucas vs Ajax
3. Lennon scoring 4-4

Most of the ones I would choose have been listed, and are probably obvious but this one always sticks in my mind for some reason. Also Defoe's goal against Portsmouth at the Lane in 2008 (the game where Bent missed that infamous header) only because it was my first spurs game.

Oh this is difficult.

So many criteria to judge it one;

Do I go for pure emotion over quality?
- Lucas against Ajax
- Stalteri against West Ham
- Woodgate against Chelsea
- Bentley volley against Arsenal when I was drunk only with Arsenal fans
-Crouch against City

Those you grow up appreciating because they are in Spurs folklore even though they are years before my time?
- Villa v Man City
- Gazza feekick
- Hoddles chip

Effect it had on the crowd when I was at the stadium?
- Kane header from Bentalebs cross against Arsenal
- Carr against Utd

Beautiful goals that have stuck in my head from games i've been too?
- Kanoutes volley against Everton
- Just Bale in his last season before Madrid
- Keane against Blackburn

And then you have all those goals from when you were a child and players like Chris Armstrong and Steffen Iversen (depressing) are your heroes and every goal they scored, in my head, were the most important and amazing things. And theyre my favourites too - because it was just pure love for your team without any of the negativity you have as you get older. It was just about loving Tottenham and loving football and it's just a bit more pure when you're a kid.
You've been waiting for this thread a while hey haha lots of thought gone into this love it!
Forgotten about Carr vs Man.U screamer!

In no particular order:
  • Sonny's goal against Burnley;
  • Ricky Villa's goal against Man City (although I never witnessed that one personally);
  • LeGin's goal against Barnsley;
  • Malbranque's goal against Bumenal in the LC semi-final simply because it was the icing on the cake of a massive middle finger to the old enemy;
  • Any of Jurgen's goals against Wimbledon purely because it was the very first live game I went to and the day lives on in my memory.

One of my favorites isn't going to be on many lists. Clint Dempsey getting the tying goal with a minute left in Fergie time - versus United. I loved the celebration in the falling snow.

The Stalteri goals was something else. Just when we needed it the most, he rises to the occasion and scores the goal. I could not believe it! Mister Peg-leg to the rescue

2 random ones I can think off that might not be on many peoples lists

1) Stephen Carr vs Man Utd in the pouring rain at WHL - memorable to me for more than just the goal.
2) Erik Edman vs Liverpool
Chuck Kanoute in that category 2003 v Everton!

Just in general, I don't see how the top pick wouldn't be Lucas' 3rd goal vs Ajax. The combination of the timing (last kick), the match situation (huge, improbable comeback), the player (hat trick), and what it meant for the club is just impossible to beat. I'd say in that regard it's one of the most special goals in the history of top level football.

Giving this an 80's flavour......

Hoddle v Manchester United
Hoddle v Watford
Hoddle v Oxford
Villa v Man City
Ardiles v Manchester United

There are very many goals that came to mind afterwards, some of which have already been named but these popped into what passes for my brain first so.............:D

Crooks goal in the semi final as well as Villa in the same game were memorable on a great night
