If everyone is fit:

Lloris;
Trippier, Toby, Jan, Rose;
Sissoko, Winks;
Moura, Alli, Eriksen;
Kane.

Gazzaniga, Davies, Sanchez, Wanyama, Lamela, Son, Llorente.

Trippier would get skinner alive by Mané. ?
We also mustn’t make the mistake of playing 3 CBs like we did at Anfield and Wembley.
Also think better to have Kane coming on from the bench.

Lloris
KWP Toby Jan Rose
Sissoko Dier
Eriksen Dele Son
Moura

Subs: Gazza, Foyth, Sanchez (if fit), Davies, Wanyama, Lamela, Llorente, Kane (if fit)
Was going to say exactly this. It may just work perfectly - that he's only fit for last 20-30 mins (+ possible penalties) so that we don't find them tripping over each other in the middle and having no width

The op said "ideally", and "ideally" Janssen would be eligible. As for 10 men, I thought it was self evident that the line-up included Dier, because everyone knows I always pick Dier in all my CL final line ups.

Might as well have Lloris play as Rush goalie too and hope for a 13-12 victory. I hear Atletico are also considering removing the goal posts and replacing them with jumpers.

Can't believe some would leave out Son. Sure he's had a couple of under par games but his pace with Lucas's is such a weapon.

His contribution against City as well, performing in those huge games.

Nah, he starts definitely.

Winks Sissoko Eriksen Alli?

We need to focus on the midfield for this one. Need to match them in the middle. No back 3 bollocks either.

I'll probably be in here 20/30 more times before the actual game but I'm wondering whether we'd be better suited to playing a similar set up to City for this one.

Lloris
Trippier Alder Vert Rose
Sissoko Eriksen
Moura Dele Son
Kane

It's similar in the sense that Sissoko would be the fernandinho and the rest are all extremely forward thinking with pace out wide able to come central. It allows Dele to play behind the striker where he can be devastating.

My concern would be getting overrun in midfield but who do you drop for I assume Winks? How do you drop the guy who scored the hat trick, or Son who's offered so much and how do you keep the returning worlds best striker on the bench, it's a good problem to have.

Lloris

Trippier Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose

Sissoko Dele

Moura Eriksen Son

Kane

If Winks is available would slot him in for Dele.

I think people are trying to shoehorn Lucas and Son in the line-up. It results in a team that would in all likelihood be ripped to shreds by Liverpool. I'd drop Son for Lucas. Incredibly harsh, but I think only one can play and I can't justify it not being Lucas. I'd also play Aurier over Trippier. Both pretty shite, but at least Aurier has some sort of pace. If everyone is fit:

Lloris
Aurier - Alderweireld - Vertonghen - Rose
Sissoko - Winks
Lucas - Dele - Eriksen
Kane

Subs: Gazzaniga, Trippier, Davies, Dier, Lamela, Son, Llorente

Lloris, Foyth, Toby, Sanchez, Jan, Winks, Eriksen, Deli, Lucas, Son, Kane? (if not fit Lamela)

I'd go with that back 4 too but Sissoko gotta play, has to play. If lucas didn't do that last night I probably wouldn't have put him in my 11 but he has to play. No way he can't.

I'm torn who to leave out.. Winks or dele or son.

Llorris

Foyth
Sanchez
Toby
Jan

Winks
Sissoko
Eriksen

Alli

Kane
Lucas.

Whatever happens we must play with intensity from the first whistle, or we'll leave ourselves a mountain to climb.

I'd argue that's not the case, as long as we keep it tight, we always readjust and improve vastly in the second half. As long as we are in the game come 2nd half then we have an excellent shot.

Whatever team people are coming up with, RB sends a shiver down my spine.
