Haha. How are so many guys being picked from when we had such good seasons? Stalteri, Gardner, Zokora, Ghaly etc. Im fairly sure we finished 5th, our highest place for about 30 years with them in the team.

There have been far more mediocre teams and players before then. I guess its a bi-product of having so many teenagers posting or not remembering that Spurs existed for a long time before 2005.

Ramon Vega has to be my choice. The bloke had a mild form of schizophrenia and thought he was a CB and CF at the same time. Absolutely atrocious.

Lassana Diarra.

Considering he signed about three weeks ago, I haven't seen him do anything for us. It's almost as if he's not even a Spurs player.

Ben Alnwick.

CC semi final 2nd leg v Burnley. I could have sworn the coaching staff just picked some random bloke from the crowd, threw him some GK gloves and a jersey, and said 'you'll do'

....can't be that bad. We signed him 3 times in the space of 2 weeks

Doherty has to be the worst player I have ever seen in a Spurs shirt without any doubt, however I would say that Thatcher is the player I have liked the least due to his general un-spurs-ness.

And people wonder why Spurs fans get the piss taken out of them

This.

To suggest that players like Zokora and Robbo are amongst the worst to play for Spurs in the last two decades is plainly ridiculous.

Not good enough for our first team - yes
Worse than the likes of Tramezzani, Rasiak and Toda? Give me a break.

The title of this thread isn't most annoying player it's worst player. Zokora went on to be a regular in one of La Liga's top sides and did very well, whilst in 04/05 there was no better keeper than Robbo in the PL.

As someone else said, I can only assume that some of you were born in the mid-nineties.

Tel's mate, Terry Fenwick.

His one and only regret being that he didn't bring down Maradona in the '86 World Cup quarters on Diego's run to his wonder goal, while conveniently failing to recognise his own total lack of pace would have rendered this impossible.

Someone mentioned Rebrov? Are you mad?

Rebrov was let down by the rest of the team and being played out of position. He would be class in our current team.

For consistent shitness it can only be Dozzell.

Same for me.

High profile player. Played regularly. Important position.

Tramezzani was the worst I've seen in terms of playing ability, and a mention must be given to Gilberto as the most pointless signing (injured at the time we signed him and wasn't able to play for a couple of months, could've got him for nothing 6 months later, shit when he did play [goal vs West Ham aside]) we've ever made.

Atouba for me....Minus that one cracker he scored for us (maybe v newcastle?!) he was total shite. How he played champions league football is beyond me.

I'll always remember him for elbowing Barton in the face behind the refs back, claret everywhere. Have that Barton!
