You know what, fuck it, I'm going to hunt Metro Sport Reporter down and thank him/her for all the info they provide for me.

This guy is reaching God-like status now.

Just go look at the pics of the reprters that do their sport. They look like they would get confused by water. I love how they put a name to stories where they may have some spurious quote or link and everything else that they make up they put under a generic 'Metro Sports Reporter' flag. A few hours before this story aparently Man City were close to sealing the deal. I guess Liverpool will sign him next with their 'done deals' for Sanchez, Lallana, Origi ans Shaqiri all "completed"

Don't know if PSV are willing to sell him and Depay in one transfer window. Looks very talented but he is only 164cm tall. But for a winger it's not a huge deal I guess.

He's built a bit like Shaqiri. Thick legs, looks a bit like a fire hydrant.

Bakkali burst onto the scene with that hat trick and then a Belgium call up but.. I haven't heard much of him since 2013. He's only 18, so it's not exactly a red flag, especially because I don't follow Dutch football religiously, but did he lose his starting position or something?

I think that sounds like we are definitely interested but it's still not anywhere near being a deal, as the Metro suggested.

Yeah that's my interpretation. Bit vague though for sure, and I can't give particular credence to the Metro.

He scored a Hat-trick and suddenly he's the next big thing. He hasn't done much since.

PSV took Bryan Ruiz on loan and he played predominantly on the right, Bakkali's natural position. Also, Depay was on the left.

Apparently, well... according to the Metro (take as much salt as you want with it), Bakkali is demanding out of PSV after the board demanded he sign a new contract or be put into the reserves.

PSV is quite known for that behaviour. They did the same thing with Ola Toivonen as well. I think he was forced out of the team for almost half a year because he refused to sign a new contract

He looks so much like a young Aaron Lennon it's scary. This is not a dig as Lennon at 18 looked incredibly exciting. Who knows, hopefully he has that drive to improve himself that top players have and our Aaron clearly doesn't.
