Not fussed if nothing happens tomorrow, it's my birthday so I'll be too drunk to care in all likelyhood anyway. On top of this, we're playing Wigan at home on Sat, it's not as if we need reinforcements for that, and then we have a 2 week break.

Heh. I absolutely can live with THREE special players. I would prefer to think that we are close to being done, if not done so the squad can look inwards and say to each other "it's down to us".

I think something big is going to happen tomorrow. Big... i mean wednesday we win in the champions league, thursday cl draw and friday we make some moves in the transfer market. Really big! Although I could be getting ahead of myself after that champions league draw.

The Andy Reid purchase was a blessing in disguise... It bought us Dawson as part of the deal and we all know what happened then.
I have a feeling Tuesday though will be the day when any deals are made... they will not want to drag any BIG deals into wednesday!
As for Suarez and Fab, I don't know who I would have out of the two! So long as they can push through a defence with their own weight!

I don't know. By all means a big signing would go down a treat. Realistically though, how big can we aim with so little time. All I want is for the management to be satisfied with the team, if they are, so am I. However, I won't say no to that special player, of course not. I really would love that little bit of class up front to complement our already exciting crop of players. Might happen, might not. Of course there's the Fabiano and Suarez links but both are CL cup tied. Very interesting post from the Goat though, I thought Suarez was dead ages ago. If he came I'm sure he'd be a success, though I'm not sure if he's worth the kind of fee Ajax are asking for. Can't tell really because I haven't seen enough of him.

I'm not sure you always need that much time though do you? Didn't Man City sign Robinho on the last day of the transfer window, without any previous link, £32m done and dusted?
I honestly think we will sign nobody else other than Pletikosa, Sandro and Gallas.

So little time? we've been on the case for ages....Im not surprised by Suarez as everyone knows we enquired in January so it makes perfect sense...i wouldn't be surprised by anyone we sign out of those who have been mentioned - i wouldn't be surprised if we sign no one either....the only surprise would be someone we aint been linked with or someone like Dzeko...

off topic I know, but what a great bit of business that was, for us. I believe that the problem of trying to incorporate Robinho into their the City side last season cost them a lot of points.
On topic - I hope that a last minute 'big' signing would not have the same detrimental effect on us.

If I'm honest I don't see us getting Fabiano or Suarez. The best we can hope for is KJH on a loan to buy agreement. It's just a hunch I have got. I would not be too disappointed with that if I'm honest.
