I do hope he turns it around but the signs look worrying and it could turn sour he could go down as one of our best manager's the club has had but sadly never to win fuck all.

Manager for me. I've mentioned why in other threads but for the sake of you lot going searching, it's the system he is using. Simples.

I've reached the point where I couldnt care less if poch went. We have managed 15 points in our last 15 league whilst playing the worst brand of boring football I can remember considering the players we have at our disposal. The run to the champions league final has really masked how poor we have been and things have been on a downward spiral for ages now. All the shite poch sprouts at the press haven't made any sense for a long time. He used to be charming when addressing the press but now just seems to moan and look to blame somebody or something else.
When was the last time we actually played well where you can say damn we were on it, up for it and played with some belief. Club obvious has something going on behind the scenes and things are far from rosy.

I think if he wanted to go he'd just walk. He knows he'd be first in line for any top job that came up.

We're in a bit of a hole at the moment but I think he can turn it around.

There's obviously some issues behind the scenes with 3 of our best players in the last year if their contracts. The window closing will probably help that.

What would it take for Levy to pull the trigger? Genuinely? I mean how bad would it have to get. I doubt it would be this side of the season tbh. But if losing top 4 becomes a serious possibility, then would he?

I think a few more displays like today, or a couple of heavy defeats, early elimination form champs league, it’s hard to say.

Not sure why this got a spam rating. It's about as on topic for the thread title as it gets??

Until we know what truly is going on between Poch and Vertonghen, I’m inclined the blame the manager. Purely because Vertonghen has said in the media he loves the club and wants to stay.

If Jan played today, that goal doesn’t happen.

In all seriousness since the CL final and with every Poch press conference after that I've not been able to shake this thought Mourinho will end up as our coach at some point. If Poch doesn't get us out of this rut, it'll happen.

Come on Poch, sort it out
I’ve loved Mourinho ever since Porto. I’m not sure we would play much better football, but we would win a trophy for sure!

If Pochettino leaves, Nuno Espirito Santo is top of my list. Obviously hope Pochettino stays for years and years, given that'd signal a change in our form and getting back to what gave us success.

This isn’t the beginning of the end. It’s the beginning of the season. And a club in the shape we are aren’t thinking about dumping our best manager for years after 3 games. Yes, the form is a continuation of the shite we put on display in the second half of last season but Poch tinkered in the summer and the changes he made need to be given a clean slate for the new season. No NDombele today, Lo Celso hasn’t started yet, Son has only just played his first game, Dele isn’t back yet, Vertonghen will play a part, Poch needs the window to close to finalise the Toby and Eriksen situations... I could go on about a few other players too but I’d be open to making excuses when actually it’s just happens to be the case that we are currently a bit unsettled and it’s showing in our performance. I’m still looking optimistically at the season and will quite happily forgive and forget this thread as the season goes on.

What a shout. Plays attractive football, smallish budget, surely would jump at the chance

I really hope you're right. Let's see how you/we feel after 10 games.
