Birmingham (a) W
West Ham (h) D
Man City (a) W
Chelsea (h) L
Portsmouth (h) D
Newcastle (h) W
Blackburn (a) D
Middlesboro(h) W
Wigan (a) D
Bolton (h) W
Reading (a) W

Which leaves Liverpool at home on the last day of the season. Beat them and we'll finish seventh on 57pts and gain the final Uefa Cup spot, depending on how the CC Final ended up!

I still don't think it's realistic.

Birmingham (a) W
West Ham (h) W
Man City (a) D
Chelsea (h) L
Portsmouth (h) L
Newcastle (h) D
Blackburn (a) L
Middlesboro(h) W
Wigan (a) W
Bolton (h) W
Reading (a) D
Liverpool (h) D

Leaving us on 51 points in 9th place. Although, I'd love to be proven wrong.

I think it will be something like this.

Birmingham (a) W
West Ham (h) W
Man City (a) W
Chelsea (h) L
Portsmouth (h) D
Newcastle (h) W
Blackburn (a) L
Middlesboro (h) W
Wigan (a) D
Bolton (h) W
Reading (a) W
Liverpool (h) D

That's 24 points, plus the 32 we already have. So 56 points.

I have to say it is a damn fine looking run in. I still think we are too far behind to make an impact on the top 6, but I would not be surprised if it is closer than people (including me) think.

I can't see us beating Chelsea, Blackburn and Liverpool.

Other than that ... bring 'em on!

although it would be hard to guess as we will play in UEFA cup and that's could effect in our league result. it's also depends on our injuries and opponents too. But i think it is still possible for 'league unbeaten run' until the end of the season.

We won those same five games last season (Charlton for Birmingham) so it's interesting how people are downgrading their expectations.

We're still 5 points adrift of 10th so unless a few teams above us have major collapses we'll do well to finish top half.

Not pleasant reading seeing Arsenal win the league. 8th is about as best as I can see it this year.

At this stage last year I predicted Spurs would be 5th but Chelsea to win the league and West Ham to go down. So I'm about as sure as the next man!

Ive preadictd pritty much spot on since the year started so, I think we will finish mid-table, but not to worry we will win a cup too!!

We can still get 8th,

we have a realistic chance of catching the Spammers, City & Blackburn.

and it will be the intertoto ... which apart from messing up our summer is good enough for me.

23 pts. Maybe 24 if we get a draw against the 'pool. Plus 32 = 55 or 56. Anything more than that would be a bonus in my eyes.

So, if Everton win only 2 and lose 11 of their next games, and Villa, Pompey, City & liverpool go bust, Champions League is still a massive possiblity....

Sorry but I hate all this pessimistic rubbish, you cant just say were gonna lose a match without the tiny feeling inside you which says yeh on are day we can beat chelsea.

I belive we have a realistic chance of winning the CC and if not that the UEFA is still in reach. so we have to win a cup this season if not this season will be labled a complete dissaster.

The only really hard games left are Chelsea and Liverpool. The way we're playing, we are not afraid of either, particularly Liverpool who are in turmoil. Though difficult with the cup games ahead, 12 out of 12 may not be entirely impossible.
