We can not Even win the midfield with one more in There’ with the ball we look stressed and without we just fall in to our 16 yard box

Funnily enough, we actually look a bit more fragile defensively with only 2 up top.

Think the wide forwards drop deeper defensively in a front 3, whereas the front 2 stay a bit higher off the ball, which leaves us slightly more open.

Worth the trade-off IMO. We look much more watchable and effective in possession.

Look much better with the extra man in midfield, but lost our way in the last 10-15 minutes.

Brighton have upped their intensity and we need to do the same.

In summary, up until the goal we looked decent but after our goal we kinda retreated. Brighton looking dangerous. Would like us to continue how we played up until our goal.

It will be a more difficult match at our stadium, they are much worse at home. Need another goal.

They're dong a better job of taking extra touches and holding onto the ball today.

Need to do better at creating opportunities to shoot though.

Brighton are good, aren't they. So are we for a change. The Bissouma situation is my only real concern. He's on a yellow, his confidence is low and he's not playing well at all. No way Conte subs him off at HT though

Decent. They haven’t created too much. Need a bit more quality from Sess, Doherty and Son. But we should win this.

I prefer 3 in midfield but ideally we would have a creative playmaker in the three who can carry the ball forward and dictate. I feel PEH, Biss and Ben isn’t a great balance. But I fully appreciate that we aren’t built for it
