The icing on the cake was sacking Mourinho before the cup final to save a few million. That right there was the confirmation that for ENIC...

Money > success/trophies

The fact that we have some supporters that are STILL ENIC in is unbelievable at this point. They do not give a fuck about winning anything, GTFO of our club

If you run a poll on a site that is almost certainly mainly frequented by younger people , who enjoy voicing their opinions (a lot) then the results will always be pretty lopsided !
What age range would you describe as young?

I’m 42 and firmly ENIC and Levy out. They’re not pulling the wool over anyone’s eyes anymore.

Took us from a club battling in mid-table, got us to be a European regular, built a world-class stadium and training ground, bought world class players.

I'd love to win trophies as much as the next guy, but we could easily be Everton, Villa, or Leeds, once proud clubs that are currently bouncing between the championship, relegation spots, and midtable.
What world class players have we bought?
Kane came through and Son was one lucky punt out of umpteen.
We haven't really bought one world class player in the last 20 years.

Maybe we've bought players that have become world class but that's a very different thing.

Yep, in my 40's too, this nonsense about age, if anything the younger lads would be more inclined to be pro ENIC, niave enough to fall for the PR machine and having the BSoDL there to remind them of the 90s where we massively underachieved yet still somehow won more.

Let's face it, they're just trying to belittle the anti-ENIC argument, much like when you hear throwing toys out, spoilt etc etc Laughable, one thing last 23 years Spurs fans haven't been is spoiled, taken the piss out of yes, extremely patient yes, spoiled no, not at all, 85% have caught on...

I don’t want any blood money here so I can’t say out if that’s the alternative. Time probably is up but man, medicine might be worse than the disease.

I maintain sacking Mourinho before a cup final he was never going to win was hilarious and the only thing that would’ve made it better is if it happened about eighteen months earlier.

It’s a valid point to bring up because it suggests that ultimately there’s a big disconnect between fans and their football club and no matter who the owners are people are never going to be happy. It tells me that there is something fundamentally broken with football and the way it exists in its current form at the highest level. Basically the sheer volume of money in the game as warped everyone’s view of the game and how they engage with it.

I know the FSG out crowd at Liverpool aren’t representative of their entire fanbase but it’s nuts that there is such vocal movement considering the success they had in the last 5 years under their stewardship. It feels like amongst the premier league that if your club isn’t winning it’s #managerout or #ownerout. I can’t remember a time where there have been so many vocal ‘chairman/owners out’ movements. Over the last couple of seasons there been Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, UTD, Us. To a lesser extent West Ham and Southampton?

It’s telling that 4 of those are top 6 sides. The pressure to win something is that fucking high that fans (and the clubs) will do anything to try and get it whether it’s fans demanding clubs spend spend spend or clubs trying to join Ill advised super leagues. I totally get our fans discontent but I think that this runs deeper than what many of us are letting on.
Such an interesting good point, well said.

Everton now up for sale… yet again those saying no point in protests and best to just not buy and extra pint and pie at the game are being proved utterly wrong.

This is our time to keep up the momentum of the movement and pressure ENIC to want to sell.

I've done my service as a Levy apologist in the past when I thought his decisions would serve us well in the long run at the expense of the short term, but to everything there is a season and the time has now come for a new way of thinking at the top.

Out. Goodbye and thanks for all the fish.
