It would interrupt his intergration into the squad with his new teammates and him becoming comfortable in his new London surroundings, let him get used to being here and his new life rather than pack him off to a new place

The Italian side want Lamela on a six-month loan deal until the end of the season, and believe that the player will help push through the move.

The journalists on Sunday supplement seemed to imply that AVB didn't want to sign Lamela... I take most things those muppets say with a pinch of salt but it could explain the treatment of Lamela and why he isn't getting more game time.
