Meltdown in full force on the Everton forum except for this little gem:

"Seems strange fearing Spurs as their team looks weaker than ours on paper - Unfortunately they've managed to get some results unlike us"

Wow, just leaves me speechless..........

Souness is bitter as fuck about what happened to him at Spurs and always has been. Great player but total pillock. The Modric comment was outrageously poor punditry and should have resulted in the immediate dissolution of his contract with sky.

Alli was playing with Dier in front of back 4 for most of season and it worked so well it got him into England squad.
Carroll is a small lightweight playmaker not suited to that role imo.
Thats why I don't get it.
Carroll in the 3, no problem but asking him to break up play when he's 5ft 2" and 8 stone?
Not for me Clive.
I think it's Carroll's small head that has people thinking he's weaker than he actually is.

How many minutes until the Everton fans either scream "handball!" or start booing?

COYS. Can only listen to this on TalkShite radio today so not looking forward to that. 3 points will make it worthwhile though.

its all about roles. Carroll is not in there to get stuck in - that is Dier's role. Carroll is the creative outlet, to push the ball up the pitch. Carroll will be tasked with getting in front of players, and hunting in packs, on defense, and providing an outlet for Dier/Jan/Toby

Always find the refs slapping each other hands funny. "Let's fucking destroy these two teams!"

Did Graeme Souness just say Pochettino's job was on the line before Harry Kane started scoring last season....

*adds that to list of Sounessisms, which include Modric being a 5 a side player and the weak link at Madrid.

Don't forget Francesco Totti is a luxury player
