In the process of that game I kicked over two full glasses of coke in spasmodic convulsions of agony, as well as stupidly thumping myself in the leg really hard which I'm now feeling...

Piece of cake!

There is the easy way, and the Tottenham way.

Actually think the blame for tonight rests with AVB, who seems to have had a brain fart and changed formation, which helped put Inter on the front foot.

i think for the rest of the season Lloris needs to start every game uefa and all, he brings confidence to the defence sweeping up. big thanks to moussa for dragging us through again with his surging run and shot that led to ade's goal, we got away with it this time hope it'll be a big wake up call for the remaining games

The only positive I can take from that is that I think we would have lost it before, but came through today.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to drink my house dry.

Could have done with the optimistic rating here. :(
Yep. Pizza and a wank into a sock for me.

I thought that was a cracking evening tbf. More than I usually get. Someone has to go and ruin it by mentioning steak and BJs though. :(

Bloody hell, that looked like a team of clueless individuals running around without a coherent plan. We were awful too.

Seriously tho, we've let in 7 goals in the past 2 games. AVB has work to do.

Personally I don't think it's a coincidence that Livermore has come in and we've conceded that many!

Losing 4-1 to that Inter team is pathetic. Obviously great to be through but no glossing over that shower of shite.

A glimpse at a Bale-less future....

Can we stop this nonsense ? Seen it a few times. Its not like Bale is going to disappear off for free with no players coming in. IF we sell Bale for 60m odd you can bet that there would be 1-2 very tasty players coming in the way as a form of replacement. Having said that, yes, our performance tonight was indeed pathetic

Seldom have we defended so badly. Cannot understand why Friedel is getting so much stick, the defending in front of him was terrible. We never really got a grip on midfield, allowing them far too much time to pick passes. Then the back four were all over the place a lot of the time, unable to pick up the running of the Inter players.
My real concern is how tired the players will be on Sunday as we have to win against Fulham.

I don't think the stick is really directed at Friedal for his performance per se. It's more the fact that his refusal to come off his line at any time is incompatible with the high line our defence keeps.

Is anyone else loving Kyle Walker's free role?
Too many players with tunnel vision tonight, no awareness of the big picture, pass it on to the first man you see and job done, never mind looking for space to receive it again. Sorely missing brains in the team, Moutinho would slot in like a dream between Sandro and Dembele, Him and a decent striker who can shoot and pass and we'll be ready for a title challenge.

Also it annoys the fuck outta me but anyone else notice how Lennon, if the ball is not exactly where he wants it, cannot be arsed in the slightest to even attempt to get on it.
