it will be interesting to see if their is any needle today between these two. We all recall last season's player coup led by Kane to mainly be about Ade, but Kaboul was the captain who was displaced and effectively it ended his Spurs career. I wonder if he harbours a grudge in any form. Although he's a useless defender, he's a big clumsy unit so hopefully he won't injure our only proper CF!

Having watched Kaboul on so many occasions, I can see him having a reasonable game against Kane, whereas a player like Son, I can see running rings around Kaboul.

Hopefully I'll be wrong about him v Kane and Kane has a blinder but it's a must win game and would cut some of pressure on Kane if he were to score

I've got a feeling that Harry will get a couple today. As long as he gets the service he'll score.

I've put a whole one pound fifty on Kane getting a hattrick today. And a few pounds on Son getting the last goal.

Just opened up a second account on Betfair. Intro boost of 6-1 for Tottenham to win, 33-1 Son hatrick.

Nice 198-1 double - worth a fiver

Has it been established if there was even a smidgeon of truth in that?

Hope Kaboul plays. He seems to have lost it.

kaboul has the advantage in the air, but his concentration.... kane has the overall advantage as we all know the chances will be there for him today...

no one rang rings around kaboul, except mason , when he decided to up the tempo.

infact kaboul was doing his right winger impression today, even skipping past lamela(LOL). could've, should've been an assist for rodwellls chance.

can everyone get off kaboul.s back and just calll him a kab.

kebab.

Kaboul rolled back the years and played the way that made him one of the top defenders in the league under Redknapps last season.
Obviously busting a gut and lung to prove poch wrong, guess we get to look forward to Capoue doing the same later

You know next week, he'll score an own goal then concede a penalty and get sent off

Capoue will become the player we were all hoping he'd be when we play Watford and Gomes will probably keep a clean sheet, save 7 1v1s while Lloris will throw one in his net.

All the ITK last season suggested it definitely was true (I was on COYS at the time and there was very decent ITK on this). Kane led a rebellion against the attitude of some of the more established / senior pro's in the first team. Kaboul, apparently encouraged by Adebayor and backed up by some others, tried to lay down the law but Poch sided with the rebellion and effectively sidelined Capoue, Kaboul and Adebayor.

I thought M'Vila looked the player I thought Capoue was supposed to be. Just one good game I've seen from him, and in fairness Capoue had a couple of good games when he first came to us, but for me M'Vila looks the better player of the two

Kaboul had a decent enough game I felt.

Before the game and at the final whistle he was also nothing but friendly towards those Spurs players who he had played with. From those he played with more such as Lloris and Walker to those he had less appearances with such as Mason, Carroll and indeed Kane.
