Was one of those strange games, could have had 10 but ironically even though we had a clean sheet they could have scored five, we gave too many great chances away for my liking, defence and defensive midfield still much room for improvement. The main difference for me today the wingbacks were very effective attacking, major improvements from doherty and sessegnon.

Hate this sort of comment. It's not easy to learn a new language and then have to speak publicly with nuance as football managers are required to do. Especially with the press twisting words and trying to fit a narrative.

I've taken 6-7 years of Spanish and still am not comfortable speaking it in a casual setting, never mind a professional one.

Yeah fair play to him. He was fine against Burnley and played well today after some v.poor performances. Luckily our next couple of matches aren't the toughest so hopefully he can keep up this form until Bentancur and/or Skipp are back.
