You hardly had a point. The fact your "black mate" is black is unnecessary elaboration. Laughing at something doesn't make you racist, but it definitely makes you ignorant.
That would include anyone else, regardless of skin colour.

I'll have a go.
A few Liverpool fans took a huge banner into the ground of one of their players with a huge penis.
Like with anything people interpreted this in different ways.
Some thought it was racist given the stereotype of black men having huge penis'. Some thought it was just a joke and not offensive.
Some simply thought a banner of a huge penis was not appropriate for a large stadium that would be shown on TV before the watershed.
As is the will of the internet people had to argue about it. And like always instead of simply discussing the point someone decided that a black man having the same opinion as them backed up their view.
IMO it doesn't.

The worst thing about playing them (except losing that final) is having to put up with them for about 2 weeks a year. They’re still going on about the 2 all draw there two years ago. They’re despicable people. I hope we get an unsuspecting win so badly!

I know two brothers from the city who moved down sahf years ago. One a Red, one a Blue. Both lovely blokes until you talk about football. The Blue is pretty down to earth and admits when his team have made mistakes etc. The Red is never wrong, always hard done by and 5 TIMES!!!! (I unfriended him about 6 months before we played them in the final). Amazing really.

This is always said about Everton fans in comparison to Liverpool, fact is a Scouser is a Scouser, if Everton had had half the success as Liverpool over the years their fans would be just as bad.
As it is though, even someone from Liverpool would have a hard time deluding themselves that Everton were the best thing since sliced bread.
