Yes! With that performance this is like a win! COYS!!

But what really baffles me is how we are so far from the great play we did two seasons ago. It's not just today or against Villa but the whole last season as well.
I think we need time for our new midfield to bed in.

Also think Poch needs to go back to the set 4-2-3-1. It's great we now have so many ways to play but the 4-2-3-1 has always been our most successful formation. We seem to revert to it to get us out of the shit rather than starting with it.

The funny thing is when Jesus “scored” Aguero went to Pep and what it looked like apologised. And then VAR said fuck you ?

Blood money pumped entitled bastards with a petulant prick of a manager.............. and a second last minute goal ruled out by VAR.

Who gives a flying fuck if we stole a point?? Who gives a fuck it was one sided?

Look who they brought on? Look who we had missing?

We are not firing on all cylinders yet and I couldn’t care less that we stole a point.

That point could be huge come the end of the season. Buzzing
Fucking right Matthew!

The emotions of football eh, as If it wasn’t already intense without VAR ! The deflation from letting in that last min goal & then ecstasy a min later !

The more Lucas scored important goals, the more regretful I felt he did not start our CL finals... I am always upholding Kane to start then.

The result was fantastic in the end, but it really is disheartening to see us so overwhelmingly outplayed from seeing those shot attempts and touched in box statistics - personally I don’t think that is acceptable but I know others will disagree because of the end outcome.

Fuck the score (delighted obviously) it was so one sided it was almost embarassing. Anyone that says otherwise is living in some sort of wacky baccy dreamworld!
That’s because they have the best players - and a lot of them - and the best manager. They’re the best side there is.

City started the game like they would blow us away like they do other sides but like it or not they didn't and they didn't because we were too good. Yes they had the best of the game and had lots of chances but it wasn't bad luck they didn't make them count it was us and our defending, sure we rode our luck but you make your own luck. It's a shame their goal was handball but Christ when I think of the amount of bad decisions against us over the years I can't help thinking VAR is redressing the balance. Our players left nothing on the pitch and I am proud of them for that.

System wasn't great, allowing the youngest member of our defence an overload on his side every time, leaving him to make the decision when to go out wide, and often left 2-1 was pretty poor and never really changed.

Sissoko offered little in helping us keep the ball but again our movement was lethargic and laboured. Eriksen and Kane jogged about for most of the game, and bizarrely, despite being our best CM (again) Winks was the one to go off (Poch does love a unit)

So what, it's the toughest game of the season and we came away with a point it will happen to us this season where we will outplay a team and end up with a point it's all about getting the ball over the line between the posts and under the bar, and we were equal to that. Better than out playing them and losing.

An excellent weekend so far. A very good unexpected point and despite my fiancée being in hospital for 8 days and counting she’s improved ten fold in her fight against E-Coli, Sepsis, serious chest infection, serious Pneumonia and dangerously low blood pressure. Hopefully she’ll be discharged in the next few days with a bucket load of further antibiotics and able to rest before starting her 3-6 month recovery.

Because it’s new, over time fans will learn to hold off on the celebrations. Imagine Aguero’s league winning goal, then imagine the celebrations being put on hold so some bloke in an office miles away can check in inconclusive video replay.
Nah. You're consumed in the moment at football. People wont stop celebrating.

Its happening again :singing:

There's something deeply satisfying about snatching an undeserved point, especially against these financially doped shithouses.
