I may have given Bale a ten in the past or maybe it was 9.5, but Kane was a 10 no doubt about it.

Infact, I'd say it was probably one of the best performances I've seen in a Spurs shirt in my life time

I've seen some sensational performances from Gazza, Waddle, Sheringham, Klinsmann, Berbatov, Toby/Jan and Bale but this may have shaded it. Absolute beast, even the City fans on bluemoon couldn't quite believe how good he was.

Kane 10
Kulu 9
Sonny 8.5
PEH 8
Bentancur
Royal 6.5
Sess 6.5
Dier 7.5
Romero 8
Davies 7
Lloris 6

still a bit shakey in midfield, but at least we have one now! Defence with Cuti & Dier is soooo much better.
And Harry showing why they should have paid us the 200 mil.

Great match and Spurs performance .Harry (10) Mom...But the previous 2 games had managers looking at our weak points and going after them . Pep did not take this route , City played their game .

So the match was very different to the previous 2. Burnley will be looking at our weak points again so I'm not reading too much into this match in terms of how well we're going to do this season .

New boys are maybe adding steel so hopefully we'll do better vs other teams . Fingers crossed .

Kane 10/10 and just a brilliant performance.
Huge shout out to Dier first game back and immense. Romero, Hojberg, Bentacur all great. Fantastic team performance.
For once I am looking forward to Garth Crookes team of the week to see how many spurs players in the team.
It could be 11 Harry Kanes in the team

Kane 10
Romero, Dier, Davies, Kulu, Son all 9
Højbjerg, Bentancur 8
Lloris, Royal, Sess all 7

I know Bentancur got caught a few times in possession, but he just moved the ball so well, and along with Højbjerg really grafted to fill the gaps.

Lloris made up for a pretty big gaffe that gave them a goal with a world class save second half.

Conte gets a 9 for a tactical masterclass and his post match comments.

Lloris - 6 - made a silly mistake for their goal but then a wonder save from Gundogan. Other than that didn’t have a whole lot to do to be honest.

Emerson - 7 - did his defensive duties well which is what he is best at.

Romero - 9 - Rolls Royce of a defender, brings the ball out so well, so brilliantly aggressive. Fantastic player.

Dier - 8 - The leader at the back to be honest. Perfectly made for that central position in a 3. Glad to have him back.

Davies - 8 - another good game by gentle Ben when surrounded by other composed defenders. Loves a cross field 60 yard pass.

Sessegnon - 6 - lacks so much confidence. Needs to be stronger on the ball and play without fear. Hopefully he can get better.

Bentancur - 8 - fantastic performance from him and PEH as a double. Lost the ball a couple of times but made several key passes that helped us win.

Hojbjerg - 8 - excellent in midfield with Bentancur, worked tirelessly till the final minute. Light years ahead of Winks.

Kulusevski - 8 - great performance from Kulu, a goal, one assist, another chalked off by VAR and such a composed and hard working performance from a 21 year old kid new to the league.

Son - 8 - always a problem for sides with his instinctive running as soon as Kane gets the ball. Stretches teams with his pace and will always be a goal threat. Love Sonny.

Kane - 10 - wow, what a performance, what a player. 2 goals, another chalked off by VAR, numerous excellent passes and brilliant hold up play. Most likely the best single performance from any player this season, especially considering the opponent in their own back yard.

Opened this thread thinking anyone who doesn't give it to Kane is barking mad. So that's 10% of Spurs fans. The rest of us are normal.:)

Kane on another level, again.

The difference Dier makes to the defence is massive.

Think you'll find that makes 10% of Spurs fans either of below average intelligence or who hold a grudge for what happened over the summer. Kane was sensational yesterday.

But 100% of Spurs fans are barking mad. We support this lot by choice and for pleasure. If your dog treated you like this, you'd put him down. If your wife did, you'd divorce her. If your kids continually let you down like Tottenham, you'd disown them.

Yet we all came back after Southampton and Wolves despite expecting to be bummed by City. And every now and then, this bloody club, for all its faults, will give you something to hang on to. Fuck you Tottenham, I love you and I always will. And there's nothing I can do about it. And that's barking mad in anyone's book.

what a win, great team effort- Kane MoM.

Pride restored and one of those two defeats last week effectively wiped.

We're actually better suited to playing away. No bad thing we have another three trips north coming up next

Never given anyone a 10 before, but Kane gets that without even a thought.

They were all fantastic, particularly Kulu, Son and Romero.

But Kane was exceptional.
