From those I saw jump on it, they were the infamous WhatsApp collaboration group.Surely spurs would leak it to Ali if they were leaking it to anyone and didn't a number of journos get the last leak as well?

You don’t send out a brief literally a week ago to a whatsapp group full of journalists that you’re not interested in someone to then change your mimd days later. Get real.
But every single chairman whose manager or player has been linked with leaving says this. They are hardly going to come out and say “yep, he’s off” they want to maximise the potential compo they wil receive. I would have thought this was obvious? The words of the Feyenoord Director and Slot saying “if my next step is in the Netherlands then I will have failed in the next few years” in regards to his next step..”next few years”.
That only leads to things we don’t want. Their incompetence won’t lead to a good outcome like this, our luck is terribleNo, that would be poor management and communication of the highest order
“We havent received an approach” is pretty clear though isn’t it?But every single chairman whose manager or player has been linked with leaving says this. This has the Conte > Nuno > Conte vibes to itIf the JN reports are true then this is heading to a predictable scenario where he eventually turns us down, by which time we’ve pissed Slot off by messing him around for too long and we end up with Rogers.
Donna’s plan all along perhaps?
Official approach is very different to speaking via agents and intermediaries“We havent received an approach” is pretty clear though isn’t it?
I hope so, I don’t want to ignore the words right in front of us because I want one thing or another to be true.Official approach is very different to speaking via agents and intermediaries
Well ITK and credible papers saying we’ve been in talks with Slot, I don’t think the fact their DofF/GM has turned us down means Slot is off the table. The words of the Feyenoord Director and Slot saying “if my next step is in the Netherlands then I will have failed in the next few years” in regards to his next step..”next few years”.
we heard the same noise about Nagelsmann that we’re hearing now about slot.
And by the way, I’m DESPERATE for it to be one of those two..
You’ll save yourself a lot of pain if you ignore most of the words you hearI hope so, I don’t want to ignore the words right in front of us because I want one thing or another to be true.
Yeah my main hope is that behind the scenes we've settled on Slot we're simply waiting until the end of the season to start formal negotiations with Feyenoord (perhaps at his request?).I just hope we have made our decision already and as soon as the season ends we move swiftly and appoint the new manager.
Give home time to sit down, start assessing the squad and identify new players so we can get them in quickly.
What we need is everyone in place for pre-season so our new manager has the opportunity to get his ideas across.
What we dont need is this nonsense of waiting til the last week of the transfer window to see who is left avaialble at a knock down price.
However, this is Spurs and Levy so I wont hold my breathe.
Mason is saying what he’s saying because it shows an aura of confidence to the players and media and he’s got nothing to lose saying he feels he’s ready for the job but he will know the reality is that we are looking to appointment someone else.I think those hoping we are just waiting to announce our new manger once season ends are being optimistic. I very much doubt Mason would be making claims he wants the job if he knew someone was coming in.
It is unbelievable that we are in same situation we were 2 seasons ago, scrambling around for a manager. I would still put money on Rodgers if I was the betting kind.
Not good to get attached to someone before they have comeTime to move on from Nagglesmann. I want Slot to manage Spurs

I don't think anyone believes the new manager is confirmed behind the scenes. Just seems like we're not openly negotiating with any clubs until the season is over so there will (hopefully) be some actual movement after the 28th.I think those hoping we are just waiting to announce our new manger once season ends are being optimistic. It's just football speak, I wouldn't read much to it other than we haven't made an official approach to Feyenoord yet.“We havent received an approach” is pretty clear though isn’t it?
So Nuno next thenThis has the Conte > Nuno > Conte vibes to it
Let's hope they (Bayern) land Poch instead would rather duke it out over JN with the Chav's over the next few months than Poch go their.Think Bayern are too big and proud a club to do that. They'd rather suffer than so publicly admit they fucked up IMO.
