It’s a discussion forum, just about everything at the moment is conjecture and laden with narrative. 90% of stuff on here is opinion and not grounded in any truth and stimulated from media articles of some description."If it's true", but let's bring it here so people can pile on and keep the narrative spiraling downwards.
Actually this isn't as bad as people are making out.View attachment 127012
Might explain the pigs arse were making of this
Though discussion and gossip are different beasts. It’s a discussion forum, just about everything at the moment is conjecture and laden with narrative. 90% of stuff on here is opinion and not grounded in any truth and stimulated from media articles of some description.
The only hope I have is playing only one game a week should ensure that Kane and Son are fresh and able to press from the front again.

Of course but so much of the discussion originates from media gossip, whether that’s team selections, player transfers or new managers. The point I was making to the poster was that this was from a reputable media source not a 2 bob Twitter accountThough discussion and gossip are different beasts.
The Daily Mail is a reputable media source?Of course but so much of the discussion originates from media gossip, whether that’s team selections, player transfers or new managers. The point I was making to the poster was that this was from a reputable media source not a 2 bob Twitter account
Well in the grand scheme of things and in a world of murky shit and not a 14 year old with a Twitter account thenThe Daily Mail is a reputable media source?
Tbf, Poch may not have wanted to come. With Poch going to Chelsea I'm going to risk an unpopular comment. Of course my first hope is our board suddenly has a wonderful life visit and see's the error of their ways and gets out of their own way.
However, assuming that doesn't happen and the board repeat recent mistakes. I think the best thing that can happen for Spurs (here comes the deep water), is that Poch wins the league or does something significant with Chelsea, not saying he will but I'm saying it would be the best thing for Spurs in the long run.
The reason I think this is because they could have brought Poch back, they made the decision they made and so if he ends up absolutely smashing it with Chelsea, the board will not be able to escape what's staring them in the face that this was their own doing. Now I'm not saying that Joe Lewis will fire them all or heads will roll, I'm saying that they won't be able to hide from their decision, they will be forced to come to terms with the uncomfortable emotion of that. Spurs fans will be so angry that they will not allow it to be forgotten if Pochettino goes to Chelsea and succeeds and we're fumbling around with Nuno mark 2.
I thought the same if Arsenal won the league, the club wouldn't be able to hide behind the bigger clubs excuses and that the embarrassment of Arsenal winning before us given our position would mean that some internal investigation would have to take place. They escaped that but this is bigger, they decided Poch was not the person to bring back, he's not at our rival and our board best hope they made the right choice because it will be scorched earth time from the Spurs fans.
Tbh the likelihood is slim as that's a hell of a difficult job he's got to contend with at Chelsea but I'm adamant that if people make decisions that sometimes, the only way they'll dare look at themselves to learn is to suffer the worse possible consequence, this would be it.
They were already under pressure to get the right manager but now with Poch going Chelsea, the tension is at snapping point to make the correct decision.
You really believe that?Tbf, Poch may not have wanted to come.
No. I just don't know. If i had felt let down by Levy last time, probably not. But I am not Poch obviously and don't know. I am just doing my best to remain as objective as possible! And no doubt failing...You really believe that?
Tbf, Poch may not have wanted to come.
I did think Mail journalists retired at 12...Well in the grand scheme of things and in a world of murky shit and not a 14 year old with a Twitter account then
Yep. Not really trying to score points. If I had left an ex-employer under 'strained circumstances' I certainly wouldn't return, unless there had been a significant change in personnel and approach. But that's just me!Certainly a possibility that can't be ruled out. really undermines my point though I probably do have a bias to thinking that he would have due to the situation Chelsea are in and the information we've been told that people on the board didn't want him. Oh so that's an interesting solution to the problem you've given me. If it's true the board didn't want him, then we didn't even give him the opportunity to reject us. If he rejected us then I wouldn't hold this opinion but it's still only going on information that we can't prove is true but I'm happy with the solution I found to your point haha
