Nice to see that keeley has gone on tour, probably won’t get game time but good experience none the less

My one to watch/dark horse this season is Jaden Williams. I saw him play for U23 at stadium back end of last season and for 17 he’s got a real presence about him. A little bit under the radar and I don’t think he’s had any international recognition. He’s also got that handy ability to play anywhere along a front 3 where as Donley is more of a pure 9. Was also selected over Donley for 23s last season. Certainly got the physical presence to make an early impact, sure he’ll get a lot of U21 playing time once others go on loan.

Saw a report this morning we are looking at Oskar Gloukh, 18yr old AM from Maccaibi Tel Aviv. Heavily linked with Rangers but we have allegedly joined the race and feel we may be favourites. Wonder if this is one that Scoulding has suggested given the Rangers interest. Had a look at the obligatory YouTube video, looks a cultured No10, strikes the ball well with both feet. I like these sort of links, 18yrs old so wouldn’t need to be registered for domestic games, but has time to become Club Trained. Sonny Perkins is another.

i wonder what's going to happen with nile this year, the past six months haven't been very kind on him.

i remember watching him for england u19s against germany last season and he was the stand out best player on the field, he was also probably the best player in our u23s alongside markanday in the first half of the season so i really hope he can get back on track.

i'm also quite intrigued by romaine mundle. i'd previously thought of him as just one of those who pass through with barely a mention but i was quietly impressed by him last season. the stats don't really back that up but there's something there to work with i think, a few times he came on for clarke and did more in 10 minutes than clarke had done all game. i wonder if he'd be better suited to more of a wing back role as he has the attributes to possibly do well there. i also noticed he's contracted until 2024 so seems fairly rated within the club as typically the lesser talked about players are only kept on rolling one year deals.

Was that Israeli kid in the U19 euros, sure he scored a wonder goal if it’s the one I’m thinking of.

Not sure if Walcott has had a little bit of a growth spurt but looks much more physically imposing than I remember must be about 6ft 3 now that’s a couple of inches bigger than I remember. After his injury people really stopped talking about him.

Yeah last preseason under Nuno it seemed like it was Nile John and Scarlett getting all the time and plaudits. Crazy how one year can change everyone's focus. I hope Nile can rebuild his confidence and get some buzz going around him again.

With (potentially) Rodon and Tanganga off this summer, think either Walcott or Paskotsi could get some more first team involvement as U21’s that are free shots when it comes to PL Squad registration. Walcott is still only 20, and counts as U21 both this season and next. Paskotsi completes two years in September so should be a free shot on Europe registration, plus next September (2023) will class as Club Trained and Home Grown whilst still being eligible for U21 till the season 2024/25 (if I’ve worked that out correctly).

Yeah if we end up with the likely 5 CB there might be game time for a younger 6th. Same with the forward line I’d have no issue in both cases if the 6th spot was taken by an academy prospect. Walcott was very very highly rated before his injury.

Agree. It's a shame Paskotsi isn't on the tour.

Also... there are a number of strange typos/misspellings in those line-ups.

Its Maguire, not Maguir. Its Cesay, not Cesaye. Its Marques not Nasques. Its Jeremie, Not Jeremiah and Marfo, not Marko.
