Just one question JJ. (sorry) Would I be right in saying that its 50-50 weather H stays or goes? :)

Definately 50/50 weather today. Rained earlier and still overcast. If you are going out today I'd take a coat with you ;)

As for Harry staying or going, cant help with that I'm afraid!

Re: "One down four to go", any guesses?

I'd say 2 strikers, a keeper and a winger (and a CB in Verts) with Ade, Leandro and Remy being the "main" targets for strikers and Luuk De Jong and Ba as back-up targets. Affelay is, I hope, a target for the winger position and any quality young keeper would do for me. Lloris may be a bit of a pipe dream, but if the Journos info is correct he is still realistic.

Why the fuck would we buy anyone from West Ham?

Green? Tomkins?

Next thing you know Allardyce will be our manager and all our fans will turn into c***s

Fuck sake Daniel (if true, of course! If not I still love you)

you mean......

I'd want it to be Adebyaor, Giroud, Afellay and Lloris. It'll more likely be Joe and Carlton Cole, Heskey and Rob Green.

Levy's position re Redknapp is pretty unenviable, he has a media darling who knows how to work the press to his advantage, and while Levy maybe unhappy with how things went the last three months of the season on the pitch and behind the scenes, there are still the "never had it so good" fans and media who think 'arry's the best things since Warburtons Seedy batch.

So sacking him would heap unnecessary pressure on the club and we would have press coming at us from all angles with every half decent player wanting to leave (according to the press at least)

I don't think Levy will sack Redknapp, and was hoping for the England pay-off. but now should tell 'arry he has next season (not just till christmas as we could free fall again) to earn a new contract. And get in the players Levy feels are ones for the (short term/long term) future.

edit

but i would be happy for DL to turn all T9000 on Harry...

We have had it as good, and even better. Well, 'we' as in those of us who were around during Nicholson's first five seasons.

What the fuck does Levy know about the players we should be getting in? Let him stick to what he's good at, the bean-counting.

That's what he's got Pleat for...

To point out "no that player has never played for Portsmouth/Southampton/West Ham/Bournmouth" (delete as applicable)

The fact Levy signed our best player (signed in the Redknapp era) means i would rather he had full say on our transfers than Droopy...

Just so I know, are people still believing that Harry didn't want or have any kind of say in the vdV transfer? Just so I know....

yes (now you know)

well I'm sure DL told him before he actually signed...

Just like he knew nothing of Sandro when we signed him, and knew that Ryan Nelson and Saha were triffic lads...

Yeah. Remember that bit where they'd discussed VDV earlier in the window but the price and other clubs involved meant we put it to one side and sorta left it? Then DL got a call from RM and he in turn called H to ask if he was still keen?

No. No you don't because it was all a figment of your imagination.

I'll be absolutely devastated if Redknapp's contract is extended. I know there's talk of that.

An article recently stated that VDV has a problem withn Redknapp. That's one I didn't know. I wonder how many others are getting fed up with the man.

My great hope is that Redknapp will be gone. This summer.

Now where's the man with the balls...

Sandro I'll give you (even though Harry apparently saw him twice for inter), but that's what scouting systems are for, especially in places like South America. You think Fergie knew much about Hernandez? Also, we have a link up between the clubs so it's not exactly an out of the blue signing, no matter who was in charge.

Or what misfit said.

Well if an article said it, it must be true. I will now believe that article over the one I read which said vdV was a big admirer of Harry. I'll even dismiss the quotes and everything.
