actually I think you did

I'm sure a 'not' is missing from the second part of Brazil's original post from yesterday. It certainly reads better with a 'not'. I.e We are expecting a bid and have prepared but that is not to say that Bale wants to go or that he will go.

Really don't think AVB and Paulinho would be lied to. Or Villa. Or anybody coming in. It would have to be a deadline deal. And that has to have an impact bigger than just dollars and on the field tactics. Business is business. But I'm sure morale would be wrecked.

"Really don't think AVB and Paulinho would be lied to." Fair comment... "It would have to be a deadline deal." So, er, which is it?

You think they won't be lied to or will?

We won't sell

The first thing potential signings are going to ask after how much money they will be getting is 'will i be playing with Gareth Bale?' so I can't believe that Levy and AVB will lie to incoming players and say yes then go sell

I personally think that BAle will be utterly stupid it go to Real "Super Classless" Madrid after they way they have conducted themselves this year... well, and many other years.

There is no reason to leave Spurs, he earns plenty of money, if he wants CL football he will get it with us.

This is probably his agent talking to him, looking to get his big pay off, the ****.

remind me how the banks in Spain are performing these days? Would they even be able to help Real Madrid out? Spurs won't accept monopoly money.

It's to do with image.

Think of all the personal savers that would leave the bank if barca/RM were refused funds. That's the massive issue with it. screwed if they do, screwed if they don't.

There was an instance a few years back with liverpool and RBS. Because of where Lpool were with there finances technically RBS could have siezed the asset to recoup their debt (it wasn't being serviced. However that asset would have been the stadium, and that would have shut Lpool and imagine the PR damage there.

It's the same issue for the Spanish banks but on a much much bigger scale.

so it has to come from the government, and then from loans somewhere down the line.

Surely it depends on whether they actually have the ability to get the funds from somewhere first. If the banks genuinely don't have anything, and it seems Spain is circling the drain right now, then where does it come from? And Spurs would want guarantees as well... especially now with Spain as it is.

Yeah this is spot on. If the Spanish banks refuse Madrid, they release a story in Marca saying that they can't raise the funds for players due to banks, and suddenly the banks find that a few thousand personal savers remove their money, and the bank shits itself and bows to Madrid. Barca use similar tactics.

Only way Bale would be sold imho is if he goes on strike or Real offer Cristiano Ronaldo in a straight swap, neither are likely to happen, no point worrying

Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu (19) will almost certainly join an English team on loan. Tottenham and Everton are the two options. [md]

News reports on Deulofeu...:)

If bale leaves im actually worried avb would walk considering he just said that levy promised him that bale would stay, and not sure levy dare breaking his word and risking that.

Think bale will stay.
