So we have had no confirmation bale has gone awol from the club (who I would have thought would release a statement deploying such actions), no itk(unless I've missed it) confirming it, and most people in here have assumed this is true because it's been reported by the same news outlets which are vilified in here for knowing the square root of fuck all. I swear Sigmund Freud would need counselling after spending time in here with all the highs and lows

Pretty sure Bale was given permission to miss training today.

Can see it being plausible, if he only flew back on Monday I would have probably told him to take Tuesday off and come in on Wednesday, not as if he will be in the team in the next week anyway as he has had no pre season or training.

Morning muff hunters,

A restless sleep at Waddle Towers last night, dreams of Roma, of signing everyone and no-one. I'm getting tired of waking up thinking "today is the day" only for it to be mañana mañana.

I'm going into today expecting nothing other than Arsenal to start signing quality (couldn't believe AW openly tapping up Mata last night) and us to drag everything out to next Monday....

Not my normal ebullient self today. Really need some positive ITK, a few airport photos a, "pending medical" announcement or two and Laura our fit Irish receptionist to come and give me a crafty nosh or similar.

If we can get Eriksen, Lamela and Chiriches I think that would wrap up a very productive summer transfer window.

But completing at least those 3 transfers as well as sending some younger players out on loan, selling some others and possibly getting another striker and/or a left back is a lot of work to do in a week.

No matter how close a lot of these incoming transfers are I think we need to start wrapping them up and getting those players signed as time is short.
